Color Throwdown Challenge - Believe

Welcome to this week's Color Throwdown Challenge featuring a classic Christmas color combo - red, green, white and kraft. I kept things super clean and simple this week - my mantra for this holiday season.

My card uses the reindeer image from Jolly Holiday and a sentiment from Mod Floral Stack (I LOVE the sentiments in this set). After adding a stamped green scarf, red nose and kraft antlers, I added a layer of clear Nuvo drops for a pop-shine on his 'Rudolph' nose. I think this card will be perfect for someone who's perhaps struggling during the holiday season. I try to remember those friends for whom the holidays isn't an easy time.

Reverse Confetti December Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the December Reverse Confetti Blog Hop! The theme of today's hop: A Year To Remember. We're all sharing a new project along with our top three favorite Revere Confetti projects of 2018.

One of my favorite stamp sets from 2018 is Triangle Trees, so I've used it for today's new project - a clean and simple, neutral Christmas card.

I don't often say it, but I really love this card. I've combined two beautiful neutrals from the Reverse Confetti color line, Stormy & Sand, and I'm smitten with the result. I'm usually a bigger fan of bold lines, but these dainty patterns have won me over. Luckily, Triangle Trees has both dainty and bold lined trees, something for everyone!

My other favorite part of Triangle Trees is the sentiments - so sweet and simple!

Time for my top three of 2018!

Color Throwdown 521

Hello and welcome  to this week's Color Throwdown Challenge! This week's color combo consists of silver, grey, black and white - a knockout of a combo, don't you think?!

I've used layered die cuts and single sentiment to create a clean and simple card with lots of texture - my go-to formula. I really love the silver sparkle with the layered grey foliage against the simple black wreath, and the sentiment from Triangle Trees couldn't be more perfect!

CTD 520 - Hello, My Friend

Hello and welcome  to this week's Color Throwdown Challenge! This week's color combo consists of kraft, brown, green and cream. I've been wanting to use Reverse Confetti's new coffee set, Drink More Coffee, and decided a green striped mug was on the horizon.
I again used my new favorite tag, Grid Stitched Tag

I stamped all images and the sentiment in Reverse Confetti Dark Roast Dye Ink. The stripes on the cup were stamped in Seafoam Dye Ink. I don't know why I don't use Seafoam more often, I just love it. I used a Copic marker to color the coffee foam and a seafoam shade for the dotted detail on the saucer.

Color Throwdown 519

Hello and welcome  to this week's Color Throwdown Challenge! I adore this week's color combo of aqua, red and white and knew right off that I wanted to use something from Reverse Confetti's latest release. I chose Snow Bunnies and my new favorite tag, Grid Stitched Tag

Sticking to my clean and simple style, I colored minimally with Zig markers and then added a simple sentiment strip to give the sled and its passengers a bit of grounding.

Here's a peek at this week's inspiration graphic which I just love! Please stop at the Color Throwdown Challenge blog for more inspiration from the team and guests. Remember the following keywords and hashtags for public galleries and social media so we can see your beautiful creations.
