Color Throwdown 449 - Tweet Hello

Happy Wednesday! Time for another Color Throwdown Challenge starting today in shades of green, brown and orange. I couldn't resist using the orange and brown colors to create a sweet little Robin using Reverse Confetti's The Tweet Life

I also used patterned paper from Reverse Confetti's 6x6 Fright Night pad and a pair of buttons to embellish.

Reverse Confetti - My Heart Trusts

Hello! I've got a clean and simple card for you today using Reverse Confetti stamps - My Heart Trusts and Blooms 'N Buds

After stamping and embossing the sentiment on a black die cut circle, I lightly traced the edge onto the front of the white card base to use as a guide for my stamping. I then started by stamping Lime Green leaves at 12, 3, 6 and 9 o'clock followed with Iced Aqua leaves at 2, 4, 8 and 10 o'clock, and then finished off my 'wreath' with Stormy leaves in between each.

SPD Summer Release Blog Hop

It's time to shop! The SPD Summer Release is now live and ready, and the SPD design team is on board with a bit more inspiration for you. My card features Pucker Up - an adorably sweet set that you for-sure want to add to your cart!

I used the stitched rectangle die from SugarCut - For You Tag to create a tablecloth on which I set up a few of the lemonade images from Pucker Up. I mean really, how stinking cute?! And who doesn't love and abide by that sentiment, right? I stamped the sentiment in white pigment ink onto a Zig Zag Stitched Circle and popped it smack dab in the middle of my favorite SPD SugarCut - Starburst Cover Plate.

Time to hop around for more fun and inspiration. It's been so great having you this week, and I hope you've enjoyed your visits. Happy Shopping!

SugarPea Designs Sweet Peek Week - Let's Flamingle

Hello, friends! It's day 3 of Sweet Peek Week and that means only one more day until the SugarPea Designs Summer Release will be available for purchase. Is your list growing? Well, hang on to your flamingos because today's featured sets are taking us to the island tropics, and you're going to be blown away with all of the inspiration from the design team. Head on over to the SugarPea Designs blog for direct links to the entire team.

I combined Let's Flamingle and Tropic Like It's Hot to create a bright, tropical scene. After stamping and die cutting the palm tree, flamingo and tropical leaves, I set them on and around a Stitched Flag panel stamped repeatedly with the cute little pineapple from Let's Flamingle. The water below was created by cutting a curved edge using the lower edge of the TreeScape die.

Color Throwdown + Sweet Peek Week - Day 3

Welcome to day 3 of Sweet Peek Week with SugarPea Designs. Today's featured stamp set, The Perfect Blend, is all about the coffee lover, so grab your favorite cuppa, sit back and enjoy! I'm also featuring this week's Color Throwdown Challenge colors - lime green, navy, turquoise and kraft.

The Coffee To Go Cup die pairs perfectly with The Perfect Blend! I used the 'coffee' stamp to create a subtle background on the coffee sleeve and again on the coffee cup itself using a stamp that you'll see tomorrow, so make sure to come on back. I tied a bit of twine around the middle to represent a 'hug'.
