Color Throwdown 512

Welcome to Wednesday and a new set of Color Throwdown Challenge colors. I am really loving this week's palette of aqua, green and gray. Of course,  I've added in lots of white as well. My card uses probably my most favorite stamp set from the latest Reverse Confetti release - Triangle Trees.

I stamped the trees with Olive ink on Lime Green cardstock and then layered them with a strip of Iced Aqua and Stomy cardstock, all from the Reverse Confetti store. I then stamped the sentiment from Triangle Trees in Stormy ink.

Here's a look at those Color Throwdown colors inspiration piece.  I hope you can play along with this week's challenge.  Remember to use keyword CTD512 in public galleries and #ctd512 and #colorthrowdown on social media so we can see your creations. We'd also love to have you link up to the challenge at the Color Throwdown blog linked below.

Color Throwdown + Mix It Up Challenges

Welcome to this week's Color Throwdown Challenge! I'm combining this week's colors with the sketch from the September Mix It Up Challenge over at SugarPea Designs. I hope you'll take a minute to pop on over there to see what my sweet SugarPea teammie, Kelly, has created. Something breathtaking I'm sure!

I watercolored the Stitched Autumn Icons in the challenge colors, going lighter than normal because I was in a pastel sorta mood. I then added a sentiment from Sending Sentiments and layered everything on my favorite Stitched Flags banner and Diagonal Striped CoverPlate, all from SugarPea Designs.

Here's a look at those Color Throwdown colors inspiration piece which are just so pretty. Remember to use keyword CTD511 in public galleries and #ctd511 and #colorthrowdown on social media so we can see your creations. We'd love to have you play along with us this week and link up to the challenge at the Color Throwdown blog linked below.

RC Stock Your Stash - Halloween

Hi, all! I'm here to share my take on this month's Stock Your Stash theme with Reverse Confetti. This month's theme is Halloween, and I took the opportunity add a spooky cute twist to the newly released Holiday Gnomes. Halloween is a holiday after all.

Isn't he cute?! He actually looks a little Dumbledore-ish, don't you think? I assembled my spooky little scene on a Midnight Pierced Round Top Panel which was then popped over that gorgeous new Triangles Cover Panel.

I used the Boo-Yea stamp to create a moon image, stamping it off center just enough to create a crescent moon on the left edge. The Triangle Trees are all cut from the yummy new Abundant Autumn 6x6 pad.

I'm so glad you stopped by today and hope you're feeling the same! Stop over at the Reverse Confetti Blog for more Stock Your Stash info and inspiration.

Color Throwdown 510

Hello, friends! I'm sharing this week's Color Throwdown Challenge using a new to me stamp set from Picket Fence Studios.

When I originally colored this little cutie with my Zig markers, the upper petals were more orange, but as it dried they started looking more red, like the base of the flower. Hmm...either way, she's cute as can be!

Here's a look at those Color Throwdown colors inspiration piece.  I hope you can play along with this week's challenge.  Remember to use keyword CTD510 in public galleries and #ctd510 and #colorthrowdown on social media so we can see your creations. September Release Blog Hop

Welcome to the Reverse Confetti September Release Blog Hop!
You may have arrived here from the wonderful blog of

Yana Smakula

And from here, you'll hop on over to see

Lea Lawson

Have you shopped the new release yet? I hope you have a rather large budget this month because I honestly don't know how I'd ever be able to delete anything from my cart, namely Triangle Trees and Holiday Gnomes!

My card uses the new Triangle Cover Panel die with watercoloring in the form of a Christmas tree. The sentiment is from Triangle Trees and the perfect size and font for the look of my card.  I added a twist of gold ribbon and called it a wrap!

Countdown to Confetti - Day 3

Today is one of my favorite days of countdown week because I am totally smitten with Triangle Trees and Holiday Gnomes! You are seriously going to fah-lip when you see all the gnomey-triangle goodness around the blog hop today. I also have a card featuring Christmas Candles, a beautifully traditional Christmas set with lots of evergreen lovelies. All three stamp sets have available coordinating Confetti Cuts dies.

Here's a look at the full card. Triangle Trees is absolutely perfect on its own but pairs with Holiday Gnomes like bread and butter!

Here's a look at the beautiful evergreens in Christmas Candles. I've stamped them in Lime Green and Avocado inks and tucked them inside a stitched square opening using a die from Bags & Tags Creator.

Lastly, I added a striking red sentiment layer and gold embossed one of the Christmas Candles sentiments.

Ok, it's time to hop around Reverse Confetti Land for more fun and inspiration! As always, check out the Reverse Confetti blog for Jen's awesome samples and full release information as well as PRIZE info...
