Color Throwdown + Mix It Up Challenges

Hello! I've got one card using two challenges for you today - SugarPea's Mix It Up challenge for August and Color Throwdown 504 - copper, black and white.  I'm also host for this week's Color Throwdown Challenge, so I hope you'll take a sec to pop on over to the blog for lots more inspiration. And while you're popping around, please visit the SugarPea blog for more info on the August challenge as well. There's prize money involved, so I'm strongly encouraging you to play along!

I used a combination of stamped and die cut stars using Gift Tag and Celebrate All The Things. The Dreams sentiment is die cut from shimmery copper cardstock and combined with a stamped sentiment from Dare To Dream

How about a little color inspiration?

Color Throwdown 503 - Love & Joy

Welcome to this week's Color Throwdown Challenge! We've got a color combination that could easily take you to the Christmas holiday, and that's just where I went.  This week's colors are red, green and gray.  Of course, I added lots of white space as well.

My card uses Reverse Confetti's new Mod Floral Stack Confetti Cuts - I cannot get enough of this stamp set and coordinating die set. I combined my die cut florals with a sentiment from Sentimental Christmas and a trio of gray enamel dots.

I hope you'll have lots of time to play along with our colors this week and enjoy every minute of your crafty time. I'd also like to thanks my Confetti Crew teamie, Kathy, for joining us this month as our Guest Designer and all of her amazing creations!

Color Throwdown 502 - Whale Done!

Welcome to Color Throwdown Challenge 502! We've got a sea-worthy color combo for you this week - cobalt blue, aqua, gray and white.  It was the perfect chance for me to take S'Whale on its maiden voyage.

I stamped and embossed the waves and whale and then colored them with Zig markers.  I then colored directly on the school of fish stamp with a Zig marker and stamped it directly onto my card front. Finally, I popped up the 'whale done' sentiment and called it a wrap!

How about a little more color inspiration from the team?

Stock Your Stash with Reverse Confetti

Happy Saturday, friends! I'm excite to share this month's Reverse Confetti challenge - Stock Your Stash.  This month's theme is BABY, and I've got a fun card using lots of Reverse Confetti dies.

The teepee and sentiment are from the newly released Greatest Adventure set, so adorable! I also added a cute Panda, clouds and stars on a string.

The whole scene is set inside a Pierced Round Top Layer Confetti Cuts frame with a curved sentiment below.

Save a little time to play along with us this month, and stock your baby card stash.

Sweet2Repeat Hop

It’s time again for the SugarPea Designs Sweet2Repeat Blog Hop. The SugarPea Designs team is on hand with more inspiration for all of the fun new products you now have from last month's release. Check out the list of links below to take you there. And remember to leave a comment for a chance to win a  $20 gift certificate to  SugarPea Designs. The winner will be announced Friday, July 20th, on the SugarPea Designs blog.

Stuck On You is my favorite set from the June release at SugarPea Designs, so I just had to give it a little more love for today's hop. I stamped the cactus in various shades of green simultaneously on the base and angled layer. I then popped the angle layer up on foam adhesive and added a die cut Celebrate sentiment and coordinating sentiment from Celebrate All The Things. I then finished my design with enamel dots in black to really let that pink flag pop out.

Thanks so much for stopping by today. I hope you enjoy the hop and find a little more inspiration for your June release goodies!

Color Throwdown 501

Welcome to this week's Color Throwdown Challenge. We've got a beautiful neutral combination with a bit of yellow thrown in, and I found the perfect patterned paper for my card in Reverse Confetti's Under The Umbrella 6x6 pad. I used the new Mod Floral Stacks Confetti Cuts die to cut into that beautiful gray, yellow and white pattern and then topped it with a sentiment from the coordinating Mod Floral Stack set stamped on a slip of kraft cardstock. I love that this set of dies can be used as a stand alone set of dies as well.

 Sweet and simple.

RC July Release Blog Hop

Welcome to the Reverse Confetti July Release Blog Hop!
You may have arrived here from the wonderful blog of our very own

Lisa Henke

And from here, you'll hop on over to see

Laurie Schmidlin

First off, have you shopped the new release yet? I hope you have a rather large budget this month because I honestly don't know how I'd ever be able to delete anything from my cart...especially the new paper pad!

Speaking of that fun new Cue The Confetti paper pad, I've combined two of the papers on today's card. My card also uses Pattern Builder and a lovely sentiment from Mod Floral Stack

I just love the bold colors of the patterned paper and used them as a guideline for my bloom: Coral, Bellini, Salsa and Magenta. I layered the solid images with the fine dots and stripes for a fun textured effect.
