MFT Release Countdown - Love's the Ticket

Welcome to the Day 7 of Release Countdown with My Favorite Things! You'll find complete countdown details at the MFT Blog as well as full reveals of today's featured products. Today's card features a non-traditional Valentine color scheme along with elements of Blueprints 11, LJD Love's the Ticket and coordinating Die-namics Ticket Note.

My Grout Gray card base is topped with an offset rectangle die cut from Blueprints 11 in Primitive White card stock. On top of that is a fun Ticket Note in Steel Grey stamped with diagonal lines using Plaid Background Builder in Black Licorice ink.

A detailed look at the Ticket Note shows off hearts die cut in Primitive White, Spearmint and Grout Gray card stock using the Staggered Heart Border Die-namics and Blueprints 11. The top right tab from Blueprints 11 is stamped with the date stamp from Love's the Ticket over a sweet woodgrain stamp. You'll hear more about that woodgrain stamp further into the countdown, so just be patient!

Inside I've used Ticket Note as my focal point, stamped with another sentiment from Love's the Ticket in Black Licorice ink over Grout Gray stripes from Plaid Background Builder and scattered Spearmint hearts from Love's the Ticket.

Thank you for stopping by today, I hope you've enjoyed your visit. I hope you'll plan a visit tomorrow for more Release Countdown with My Favorite Things!

Wednesday Stamp Club #156 - Cheers!

Merry Christmas, all! Today also marks the weekly kick off of MFT's Wednesday Stamp Club, and today we introduce WSC Sketch #156. I've used this week's sketch to create a fun New Year's card that I'm planning to give to my sister-in-law for her January 1st birthday - cheers!

I've combined a neutral palette with a splash of Limeade and fun background stamping for added interest.

The central image 'cluster' consists of a Black Licorice Speech Bubble Die-namics layered with a Striped Backgrounds Fishtail Flag, Limeade Stacking Stars, Steel Blue Celebratory Greetings Die-namics and sequins and gold thread. All that fun is set on a Pierced Circle STAX Die-namics that has been stamped with Sheet Music Background in Steel Blue.

Inside is a sentiment from Birthday Sentiments in Steel Blue ink flanked by more Limeade Stacking Stars Die-namics.

If you haven't already, stop over at the MFT Blog to see who's playing along with this week's sketch, and don't forget that you can win MFT cash for playing along! Thanks for stopping by.

Wednesday Stamp Club #155

I told you I'd be right back with WSC Sketch #155. If you missed it, I had a super late-in-the-week post concerning last week's WSC Sketch #154 featuring the adorable new Best Friends, but enough about that, let's get on with things, shall we?!

This week's sketch calls for rolling hills quite literally, so I pulled out my Die-namics Snow Drifts and Tree Lines and got to work! All of the rolling hills were die cut from Primitive White card stock, and the front hill is embellished with glitter covered sticky strip.

I wanted to add lots of texture which I achieved using lots of fun MFT products, including my beloved Woodgrain Background stamp in Electric Red ink on Red Hot card stock; Striped Backgrounds stamp in Gumdrop Green; and Polka Dot Cover Up as an embossed background.

I finished off the inside of the card with more Gumdrop Green Striped Backgrounds and a sentiment from Seasonal Sentiments in Chocolate Brown.

I think I can safely say that this just might be my last stamped holiday card for the year...unless I'm forgetting someone or something - like the 10,000 gift card holders I need to make yet. Good thing MFT has everything you need to whip up 10,000 gift card holders!

If you haven't already, stop over at the MFT Blog to see who's playing along with this week's sketch, and don't forget that you can win MFT cash for playing along! Thanks for stopping by.
