Color Throwdown 517 + SPD Mix It Up Sketch

Hello, friends!

I've got a double challenge card for you today featuring the sketch from the October SugarPea Designs Mix It Up Challenge in combination with this week's Color Throwdown Challenge palette of orange, red, turquoise and kraft as seen in the graphics above.

I chose a few of my favorite SugarPea products for my card, including MooseHelloPostage Stamp and the rolling hill dies in Card Front Element Builder

After coloring Moose with Copics and fussy cutting him, I tucked him within my hills of snow and added the Hello die cut and a stamped sentiment from Easily A'Moose'd

Color Throwdown 516

Welcome to this week's Color Throwdown Challenge post! Lisa Henke is this week's hostess, and she's chosen this hilariously adorable inspiration piece which I've interpreted quite literally along with the color palette - dark teal, rust and cream.

The lion costume on that sweet pooch just makes me giggle! I used two of Reverse Confetti's stamp sets to recreate him -  Leaping Lions & Puppy Love. After stamping and coloring each of the images, I trimmed out the lion's face (sorry, buddy) and placed the trimmed out puppy's face behind it. I don't know about you, but it cracks me up.

I decided to make my scene a bit spookier adding a spider and web from Too Cute To Spook. The pumpkin bucket is also from the same set.

Color Throwdown 515 + RC Stock Your Stash

Welcome to this week's Color Throwdown Challenge! We've got a neutral palette for you this week - green, white and kraft. I chose to use the kraft color as the base of my card and then layered one of Reverse Confetti's stinking adorable Holiday Gnomes. I couldn't resist adding this sentiment from A Friend Like You. The combination cracks.me.up.

My card is doubling as this month's Stock Your Stash card with Reverse Confetti. The theme for October is Thanksgiving and Friendship. Be sure to play along for your chance to win!

Use #SYSChallenge when playing along with this challenge. There will be a random winner selected each month and that person will receive a $20 gift certificate to the Reverse Confetti store. The winner of challenge will be posted on the Reverse Confetti blog at the end of the month.

Color Throwdown 514

Welcome to this week's Color Throwdown Challenge! My card uses Reverse Confetti's adorable new Halloween set - Frightening Friends. So adorable any way you mix it.

orange | brown | rust | yellow

After coloring the images with Zig markers, I trimmed them out with the coordinating Frightening Friends Confetti Cuts dies. I then set them in a scene around a Striped Frame Cover Panel Confetti Cuts layer. I couldn't decide on a sentiment, so I went without one today.

Happy Fall-idays with Reverse Confetti - Day 2

Welcome to Day Two of Happy Fall-idays with Reverse Confetti!
In conjunction with our Happy Fall-iday three day event, Reverse Confetti is also hosting a sale, so this is a perfect time to get inspired by the Confetti Crew and enjoy 15% off your order between October 8-10th.

I decided to go with a nontraditional Thanksgiving color scheme for today's ensemble, somewhat inspired by the trendy farmhouse style. Black and white is also my go-to with a pop of color thrown in, and today's color pop is green.

First up is a fun cutlery pocket made with the newly released Bags & Tags Creator Confetti Cuts die. I tied the pocket with string, attached a sentiment tag and then added sprigs of green foliage using the Leafy Confetti Cuts dies. The sentiment is from Fall Foliage stamp set, and the tag is part of the Clear Treat Box Wrap Confetti Cuts set.

Next is a coordinating card that follows the polka dot the foliage theme of the cutlery pocket. I pulled out my background set, Whole Lotta Dots, to create the polka dot panel and more of the Leafy Confetti Cuts foliage. I used a Pierced Round Top Layers die and partial die cutting to create the opening and stamped the entire grateful sentiment from Fall Foliage below.

Finally, the cutest little pumpkin you ever did see! I grabbed a bag of fall decorations at my local dollar store last week after seeing so many cute decorating ideas on Pinterest and Instagram. The pumpkin was originally a yellowish color, so I covered it with a coat of white chalk paint to the little feller. Before painting, I removed the stem and then simply replaced it once the paint had dried. I finished it with a gingham bow and sentiment tag similar to the cutlery pocket tag, but this time I stamped it with a different sentiment from Fall Foliage

It's now time to hop around and gather up Thanksgiving inspiration from the Confetti Crew and friends following the links below. Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Happy Fall-idays with Reverse Confetti

Welcome to Day One of Happy Fall-idays with Reverse Confetti! Today's theme is Halloween and I've got a clean and simple card | treat box ensemble for you to recreate en masse, if you so choose!

I love adding texture with tone on tone cover panels, and this Triangle Cover Panel is my new favorite! It's a fun contrast to the circular wreath and simply stamped sentiment.

How about a little ghosty-boo?!
The mini-size sentiment tag is from the Clear Treat Box Wrap Confetti Cuts set trimmed down to the size you see above. I used Alphabetical to customize the sentiment here as well as on my card.

Reverse Confetti has the best packaging
Here's the Mini Clear Box tied up with Cheerful & Kind black and white patterned paper and my clean and simple ghosty tag.  Speaking of that ghosty tag, it's simplybcut with the Round Top Tag Confetti Cuts die and topped with googly eyes, how much easier can it get! I also added a fun little die cut bat from the Halloween Bits Confetti Cuts set.

Ok, it's time to HOP! I can't wait to see what the Confetti Crew has for us today along with our 'Fetti Friends, Maria and Crystal! Thanks so much for stopping today. I'll see you back tomorrow for Fall-idays Thanksgiving...
~Amy
