Color Throwdown #453

Hi, everyone! I'm here today with a color poppin' card using Color Throwdown Challenge #453 colors - bright pink, green and yellow. I love to layer my images and die cuts on white for that wow factor, so I guess you could say it's my go-to formula (or something like that).

I started with a white tag layer using Reverse Confetti's Pierced Round Top Layers and then layered a Pineapples Aplenty Confetti Cuts pineapple and Hello & Thanks Confetti Cuts sentiment on top. Instead of stamping the pineapple images onto the pienapple die cuts, I used Zig markers to watercolor the pineapple base and crown for a nice loose contrast to the sharp lines of the thanks die cut.

Come on out and play along with this happy color combo, we'd love to see what you do with it! Remember to use keywords CTD453 in public galleries #ctd435 and #colorthrowdown on social media sites. Head on over to the where sweet Broni is hosting for more inspiration.

CASology Diamond | CAS(E) this Sketch

Hi, folks! I'm popping in with a card that I made for the current CAS(E) this Sketch and CASology challenges. Click on the challenge graphics below for more information on each.

The CASology cue card is diamonds, so I used two of Reverse Confetti's Tall Triangles Confetti Cuts to create a diamond shape on which I layered the Wild Words Confetti Cuts *dream*. I also used a strip of Free Spirit paper featuring a diamond pattern. I love both of these challenges as they feed by CAS style and challenge me at the same time.

Color Throwdown + SPD Mix It Up

Welcome to this week's Color Throwdown Challenge in combination with the July Mix It Up Challenge from SugarPea Designs. My card uses the sketch from Mix It Up #33 and the CTD #452 colors - green, yellow, red and turquoise.

Prehistoric Pals is an adorable little dino set from SugarPea Designs. I colored and die cut the images using Zig markers and the coordinating Prehistoric Pals dies and then arranged them on a Zig-Zag Stitched Circles circle. I then finished the card with a Party Banner Duo banner in matching colors and a die cut Celebrate sentiment hovering above a stamped sentiment from Prehistoric Pals.

Color Throwdown 451 - Stuck On You

Howdy! It's time for this week's Color Throwdown Challenge in green, dark pink, light pink and white as show the graphic below.

We'd love to have you come on out and play with us for a chance to become our Guest Star Stamper. Please use keyword CTD451 in public galleries and #ctd451 and #colorthrowdown on social media.

I created an open frame using Reverse Confetti's new Pierced Round Top Layers Confetti Cuts and then filled it in with all of the cute succulents from Lawn Fawn's Stuck On You. I used a few different shades of Reverse Confetti's green ink family - Parakeet, Seafoam, Mint and Lime Green, as well as  Piggy Bank and Flamingo. Aren't they all so pretty together?

Reverse Confetti SFYTT - Mahalo!

Mahalo! July is full on, folks, and that means it's time for my monthly Sketch For You To Try with Reverse Confetti. As always, we'd love to have you join us for this challenge for a chance to become the next 'Fetti Fave along with a gift certificate to the Reverse Confetti store.
I've combined new July release products with a few of my favorites. I started with a diagonal strip of Under The Umbrella 6x6 paper pad layered on a white A2 card base. I then colored and die cut the Mahalo coconut drink image using Zig markers and the coordinating Mahalo Confetti Cuts. Those images were then layered on a Sunburst Tag Layer Confetti Cuts and embellished with Circle Garland Confetti Cuts and enamel dots.

There's more sketch inspiration at the Reverse Confetti blog, so take a hop on over and get inspired! Thanks so much for stopping by!
