Color Throwdown 491

Welcome to this week's Color Throwdown Challenge! What a great opportunity for me to use my favorite Hello die from SugarPea Designs, 'cause it's been like 10 minutes since I've used it, ha!

I've been working on Taco-Tuesday themed staff appreciation gifts for my son's elementary school and just had to keep on stamping with the cactus from Lawn Fawn's Stuck On You that I'd been using. I added a flower in a darker shade of coral and kraft pebbles beneath each of the cacti using a trio of Copic markers.

CASology Challenge - Prickly

Hi, all! I'm so excited to be playing along with the team over at CASology for this week's challenge themed PRICKLY. Of course I had to go with something in the succulent family and chose Lawn Fawn's Stuck On You. The sentiment is Script Greetings from Right At Home. I couldn't resist doing a bit of stamp surgery to change 'deserve' to 'desert' to create the punny sentiment.

Lots of open space and limited layers keeps this design clean and simple.

I hope you'll come out and play along with this week's CASology challenge. For complete details and more PRICKLY inspiration, please visit the CASology blog.

Color Throwdown 451 - Stuck On You

Howdy! It's time for this week's Color Throwdown Challenge in green, dark pink, light pink and white as show the graphic below.

We'd love to have you come on out and play with us for a chance to become our Guest Star Stamper. Please use keyword CTD451 in public galleries and #ctd451 and #colorthrowdown on social media.

I created an open frame using Reverse Confetti's new Pierced Round Top Layers Confetti Cuts and then filled it in with all of the cute succulents from Lawn Fawn's Stuck On You. I used a few different shades of Reverse Confetti's green ink family - Parakeet, Seafoam, Mint and Lime Green, as well as  Piggy Bank and Flamingo. Aren't they all so pretty together?

Lawn Fawn - I'm Stuck on You

Boy was I ever surprised when I found this adorable set from Lawn Fawn that somehow got tucked between a few other things in my craft room! I'm thinking my husband would love to give this to me for our anniversary next month, so I'll tuck it away for him to somehow find. Sometimes you just gotta create/conspire your own destiny, folks.

After stamping the two cute cacti from Stuck on You, I used Copic markers to add a rocky ground base and a little color depth to each of the cacti. Wanting to really make that bright pink heart pop, I added a layer of Glossy Accents to it.
