MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge #210

Happy Wednesday, or if you're so inclined - Hump Day! Each Wednesday of the month means a new sketch from My Favorite Things, and since I'm off school (work) today 'due to inclement weather', I got a little extra stamping time in this morning.

Don't forget - all of the MFT challenges are being hosted and housed at the new
Challenge and Inspiration Blog!

I literally dug through my die cut leftovers basket and found everything you see here, except the vellum Fishtail Flag.

I die cut the Striped Stencil rainbow layer with a rounded rectangle from Blueprints  and started layering the leftovers. The hearts are from LOVE Centerpieces and adore is from Love and Adore You, both from MFT's release last night.

I had a sliver of the rainbow layer left, so I die cut it with a skinny little Fishtail Flag and layered it with more hearts and you from Love and Adore You.
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you get some extra stamping time in to play along with this week's Wednesday Sketch Challenge with My Favorite Things!

Runway Inspired Challenge + WSC

It's been a long time (too long) since I've posted a double challenge card, and since I'm always crushing on those Runway Inspired Challenges I see in my bloglovin' feed, I felt it was high-time I bellied up to the bar...er, runway.

The other half of my double challenge is this week's Wednesday Stamp Club (WSC) Sketch #199.  Antlers are carved out portions of the Spooky Scene tree, and that sweet sentiment is from Jingle All the Way.

I hope you get a chance to check out the challenges and maybe even play along!

Wednesday Stamp Club Sketch #190

I've got a quick and cute card for this week's Wednesday Stamp Club sketch for My Favorite Things. You'll find complete WSC details at the MFT Blog along with the original sketch. Remember folks, you can win a voucher worth up to $20 just for playing along and linking your project HERE.

My card is going out to a special young boy who won a writing contest, and since the theme of his composition featured Batman, I thought I'd add a little batty theme to his card.

The new Spooky Scene Die-namics bat was perfectly sized for the Lemon Drop Fishtail Flag strip. I background stamped the congrats stamp from Spotlight Sentiments in Lemon Drop ink and then added a pops of Blu Raspberry behind the Stitchable Dot Circle and star from Blueprints 18.

I finished off the inside of the card with stamps from Happy Everything in Steel Blue and Lemon Drop inks with a tiny star from Blueprints 18.

Thanks for stopping by for this week's WSC sketch card. I hope I've inspired you to play along!

Wednesday Stamp Club Sketch #185

Hi, and welcome to this week's Wednesday Stamp Club Sketch with My Favorite Things. There's plenty of time to get in on your chance to win some MFT cash for playing along, so get your inky on and join us for this week's sketch. All sketch participants can be seen HERE at the MFT Blog.

I used the new Happy Die-namics for the diagonal layer called for in this week's sketch, and a Balloon STAX for the circle. I added glossy accents here and there for extra shiny dimension.

The background layer was made by laying down Sour Apple ink directly onto my craft mat, spritzing it with water and then smooshing a piece of Smooth White card stock into it. After the ink had dried a bit, I stamped Blu Raspberry Hybrid Ink on top with the polka dots stamp from Large Scale Backgrounds.

Inside is a single Stacking Stars die cut with dots of glossy accents and birthday sentiment from Happy Everything in Sweet Tooth ink.

Thanks for stopping over today, I hope you get come on out and play along with this week's sketch! See below for direct links to all MFT products used on today's card.
