K&Co. SFYTT!

Today's SFYTT card uses lots of fun new stuff from K&Co.--Fresh Paint glitter paper pack and patterned paper from the 12x12 Carolyn Gavin Greenhouse collection. And, let's not forget Jen's fun sketch! If you play along with the sketch, be sure to use the keyword: SFYTT when uploading to SCS, and/or drop a link over at Jen's blog.

I kept my layers pretty simple and straightforward because these fun papers are doing all the work today. I used clear acetate (is that an oxymoron; is acetate always clear? one must wonder...) because I didn't want to cover up any of the paper patterns and thought it was a fun look with the glittery letters cut from my Red Tag alpha dies. I think that's about it, so it's time to check out the rest of the SFYTT sisters!

Release the Happy Campers!

http://s3.amazonaws.com/basec/959295/1976801/5-29-09.gif?AWSAccessKeyId=1RF809NDDCNB7616HJ02&Expires=1243605907&Signature=8F11kxRc5F%2FRI%2Fc759cjVj5cn78%3D

Today is The Cat's Pajamas release day for two absolutely swanky sets, Happy Camper and Nightie. Happy Camper has everything you need to stamp yourself into campy happiness, and the new alphabet set, Nightie is equally as swanky-wonderful! Click on the banner above to take you to TCP so you can see the delightfulness of which I'm speaking for yourself, and order (of course!) while you're there!

As promised--two more samples I created using the new sets along with coordinating buttons and ribbons that are also available from TCP--whoo hoo! Just a little chatter about the campy creations and then I've got to be on my way. The first is a square card filled with picnic baskets for you to fill in order to "feed da' bears" using Cosmo Cricket's Happy Camper paper collection.

The second creation is a hand stitched wall hanging of sorts. I stamped the images onto linen using Ranger Distress Ink in Walnut and then started stitching away using DMC floss in a variety of colors. I'd been wanting to incorporate some stitching into my stamping, so what better time than for a TCP release party, eh?!

Thanks for stopping by today and be sure to get yourself over to The Cat's Pajamas for some stamping fun and folly today!

I'll have a TCP teaser, please...

I'm a little late to the TCP Teaser par-tay this week, but I won't go into the who/what/where/when or why, I'll just get down to business and show you a couple samples I've got for you using the new stamps that are coming YOUR way from The Cat's Pajamas tomorrow--yes, tomorrow!

First up is a fun little Kampfire Karaoke album that could easily hold the lyrics to all those beloved campfire songs, or how about a few fun photos from those rousing nights of singing round the fire?

Next up is a fun little card featuring my rendition of a red squirrel who is NUTS about you using a few fun buttons and Mr. Campy patterned paper from Cosmo Cricket.

Stay tuned for more sneak peeks tomorrow and the great reveal over at Alma's blog--you really don't want to miss it!
