Color Throwdown 490

Hello! It's time for a new set of colors with this week's Color Throwdown Challenge.

pink | lavender | green | grey

I've kept thing clean and simple this week using Reverse Confetti's Tall Blooms. After coloring, cutting and assembling the bouquet, I arranged them inside the Tie-Rific Confetti Cuts pocket die. I finished my pocket bouquet with a partial sentiment from Tall Blooms stamped on a hand trimmed flag.

Sweet Peek Week - Day 5

Happy Friday! It's also release day at SugarPea Designs, so get those shopping carts warmed up and ready to shop the Spring Product Release. The entire release will be available TODAY at 6pm EST. I think this is my most favorite release ever and can't wait to keep creating with these new stamps and dies, mixing and matching them with my other SPD products. I've done just that with today's card...come look!

My most favorite monkey from Caring Critters, swinging in between Tropic Like It's Hot leaves.

After stamping and die cutting the monkey and leaves, I created a backdrop using my new favorite layer with the Post Card CoverPlate dies. I also die cut an opening for the Sending Sentiments sentiment using one of the smaller Zig Zag Stitched Rectangle dies.

Time to stop at each of the blogs and leave a little love for a chance to win today's giveaway. For complete details on the giveaway and another chance to win it, visit the SugarPea Designs blog for complete contest information.  Thanks so much for your sweet comments this week!

Sweet Peek Week - Day 4

Welcome to Day 4 of Sweet Peek Week!
All new products we be available tomorrow...is your list ready?

Today's card uses the Eyelet CoverPlate in aqua, isn't it sweet? I then die cut the orange striped paper from the Spots and Stripes Brights pad with the largest SugarCuts - Stitched Flags dies and layered my absolute favorite Hello die and the adorable little birdie from today's featured stamp set, 24 Carrot Friend, on top.

Hold on to your sweet tooth as you scroll through today's hop - there's some serious sugar for your eyes. Makes me want carrot cake, real bad! Be sure to leave comments at each blog for a chance to win today's featured set. Complete details can be found on the SugarPea Designs blog.

Sweet Peek Week - Day 2

Welcome to Day 2 of Sweet Peek Week! I am over the top excited about today's featured products, along with the whole design team, and I think you will be too when you see all of the gorgeous creations being shared with you today.  I have two cards to share with you today, starting with a fun Paris scene.

In addition to the ParisScape SugarCuts die (isn't it so cool?!), I've also used a sentiment from Chic Wishes and the hilarious French Hen from Everyday is Christmas. You'll also notice the striped layer behind which was trimmed with my new favorite Postage Stamp CoverPlate die.

Up next is my London scene using the LondonScape SugarCuts die. I used the same layout but with a totally different vibe with the gold die cut and watercolor background. I just love the detail in these new scene-scape dies.

Color Throwdown #488 - con*GRAD*ulations

Welcome to this week's Color Throwdown post. I've used Paper Smooches Smarty Pants stamps and Frame 3 Die on today's card along with our green, yellow and aqua color palette.

After stamping and watercoloring my images, I die cut over them with Paper Smooches frame die and then popped it up on a black card base using foam tape at the seams to hold it all together as one layer.  I finished it with an embellishment of enamel dots.

The Color Throwdown crew is on deck with more inspiration for you. I hope you'll find time to play along with this week's challenge!
