Color Throwdown #574

Here's a look at my card which uses a nice mix of die cuts and a sentiment stamped in brown ink from Simon Says Stamp's Wishing You stamp set. The trees are my favorite sticky stems from Your Next Stamp and the teeny hearts are from Julie Ebersole's Home & Hearth...and we can't forget my favorite Postage Stamp layer from SugarPea Designs.

Color Throwdown 566

Hi, there! Thanks for stopping by for my Color Throwdown post, once again featuring new (and old) products from Paper Smooches. This week's colors are cream, gray and orange.

I can't get enough of the new Laurels Dies and decided to tuck them inside the pocket die from the Tooth Fairy Die and a partial sentiment from Caffeinated.

Welcome to another Color Throwdown Challenge with shades of gray, lavender and white for you to play with.

I've chosen a 'bobalicious' image from Paper Smooches' new stamp set - Caffeinated. I also used the coordinating Caffeinated Icons Dies set to trim it out and then added a sentiment from Caffeinated Two, also from Paper Smooches.Those specs just make me giggle!

Paper Smooches October Release

Being a long time fan of Kim Hughes’ sweet, one of a kind designs, I'm so excited to be guest designing for the Paper Smooches October Release! I'll be sharing more creations using the new release all month long, starting Wednesday in my Color Throwdown post, so I hope you'll check back.

The card above features my favorite Frame 3 along with new products coming your way tomorrow - Spreading Joy & Laurels Dies.

Aren't those laurels beyond beautiful?! I simply watercolored them in two shades of green Zig markers, arranged them in a messy-bun bouquet and tucked them inside and out of my die cut frame.

THREE new stamp sets, FOUR new dies and TWO new stencils will be available to purchase at 10:00 AM Central time zone on October 7th. deconstructed simplicity

For this week's Color Throwdown Challenge in shades of aqua, purple, blue and yellow! I've used Reverse Confetti's Modern Floral Stack Confetti Cuts set along with a sentiment from PaperTrey Ink. I deconstructed both the die cut leaves and sentiment and then reassembled them on either side of a narrow strip of card stock to create a minimalist-modern-Orla-Kiely inspired card. Enjoy.
