Why the post titled "Scenic Hearts"?! Well, because I've used some delicious Scenic Route (Sonoma Collection) patterned paper in combination with my Hearts dies from SU!, of course! My objective when I started this Valentine, of sorts, was to create something pretty simple yet "wow", that I could mass produce. I think I achieved my objective and I like it very much! Hope you enjoy these two versions as well. Lastly, this designer paper heart is a great way to use those little pieces of your beloved designer papers that you don't have the "heart" to part with...pun intended, oh yes indeed!
Supplies
Stamps: Kim Hughes Collection--The Birds and The Bees, Mocha Chica (CHF)
Paper: SU! Kraft, Very Vanilla, Basic Black; Scenic Route Sonoma Collection
Ink: Versafine Onyx Black
Accessories: buttons, linen thread, scallop edge punch, 1/8" hole punch

You definitely got a wow from me. I had to cringe a bit at the pun though. LOL
Oh, these are great!! It's weird, I almost had that same element of a heart with a button on the side towards the bottom last night, but I opted for a smaller cut-out heart. Seeing yours, I wish I had done it!! ;) Love them both!
So cute. I'm glad I got to meet you on Saturday and see these cards in person! I hope to see you at the next get together in Feb.
How great!! I love the added scallope to the card! It certainly makes me want a kiss!
Amy, these turned out gorgeous! Great way to use that paper! Now, let's see that Bingo card! hehehe.
I love this!!!! So chic and fresh! you are the stamping queen!
What a great idea! Oh I'm filing this in the back of my mind for future reference! TFS!
