Today's card features this month's Free with $60 set, Get Well Wishes. I've combined it with a few elements from Blueprints 9 and (of course) Striped Backgrounds staged on a Banana Split card base.
I took the opportunity to use Woodgrain Background as well, using it to spice up my Red Hot bowl of chicken soup. That cute rooster is from Life's Direction. Then, I stamped a few of the block sentiments from Get Well Wishes in a subway art-like fashion in bold Black Licorice.
I hate to admit it, but I don't own a single solitary one of those darling enamel dots you see everywhere...so, I made my own! The circle elements from Blueprints 9 worked perfectly with my Blu Raspberry card stock, and a coat of glossy accents to give them their 'enamel' look.
Inside the card is another sentiment from Get Well Wishes stamped on a Fishtail Flag that was (of course) stamped with Striped Backgrounds on the diagonal in Red Hot ink. The Blu Raspberry tab is another element from Blueprints 9 and makes a perfect look-alike for clipboard clip, don't you think?! Remember the old days, when all of the patient info was jotted down on the old clipboard? How times have changed!
