I'm sharing a card set with you today created with Lisa Johnson's Grand Greetings, highlighted with Splendid Sunflower and Plaid Background Builder.
Monochromatic with a zing is the theme of my cards today! I love the subtleness of Steel Blue ink stamped on the Steel Grey Fishtail Flags banner. I've also used a monochromatic look on the Lemon Drop card base with Plaid Background Builder stripes in Lemon Drop ink.
The sentiment from Grand Greetings in stamped in Black Licorice ink to pop out against the subtle Splendid Sunflower.
Keeping with the Steel Grey and Lemon Drop color combo but reversing the colors for my second card so that Lemon Drop provides a bright, cheery accent. Splendid Sunflower is again stamped in Steel Blue ink on the Steel Grey card base but on a grander scale for this card.
Another Grand Greetings sentiment is grounded with a double layer of Fishtail Flags Banners which were stamped with Plaid Builder Background stripes in Lemon Drop ink and highlighted with aqua rhinestones.
This time I used a sentiment from Grand Greetings to create a subway-like background in Black Licorice ink over leaves from Splendid Sunflower stamped in Steel Blue ink. Love the double stamped background bordered at the top with a single stripe from Plaid Builder Background.
Can you tell I'm in.love. with Splendid Sunflower?! I let that beautiful stamp take center stage on a wide Lemon Drop Fishtail Flags Banner and accented it with rhinestones in orange this time.
Thanks so much for stopping by to see my August Release Rewind projects. I hope I've given you a little inspiration to start using those new products that you probably have in your hot little hands already, and if not, you can find everything you need at My Favorite Things in the Brand Spankin' New section!
