Snowy Merry Christmas!

For Jen's Saturday Sketch For You To Try, featuring this sketch:

Last week, my SFYTT card featured a Halloween theme, so of course this week I moved on to a snowy Christmas theme...I suppose next week will be Valentine's Day, ha! The main image panel features snowmen from The Angel Co., paper pieced and layered on Baja Breeze and Kiwi Kiss. The patterned paper is Basic Grey's Figgy Pudding collection and sparkly snowflakes are Thickers by American Crafts. Sentiment is from PaperTrey Ink's Mixed Messages set. Diamond Stickles by Ranger are dotted here and there for extra sparkle.

I've found that I really enjoy paper piecing, especially with coordinating patterned papers and it reminded me of days long gone playing with paper dolls and their coordinated outfits...didn't you just love when everything was all *matchy-matchy*?! Try your hand at paper piecing today and enjoy your memories of playing with paper dolls! Don't forget to use the keyword SFYTT when uploading your creation over at Splitcoaststampers if you so wish.

Don't forget to check out the fabulous designs of my SFYTT chicas:
