SPD Sweet Peek Week - Llama Just Say

Welcome to Sweet Peek Week with SugarPea Designs! We will be sharing sneak peeks of new products being released on Friday, June 15th. After working with today's featured set, Llama Just Say, I sorta want a llama of my own. Luckily for me, there's a llama farm just down the road!

 

Isn't this a fun set?! I always love to do a little Pinterest-research on new stamp sets and found crazy cute versions of llamas.  I settled on neutral colors for my background (more information on that tomorrow) and brighter and deeper hues on the luggage stack and (saddle) blanket to make them pop.  

I also added a fringed banner which I'll also tell you more about this week. Let's just say it's a preemie sneak peek of upcoming products yet to be unveiled.  Finally, I used embroidery floss to 'tie' the whole stack around my llama's belly, cutting tiny slits at the top of the green suitcase so the floss could be more crisscrossed.
