Welcome to this week's Color Throwdown Challenge. This week's colors lend themselves perfectly to a watercolored rainbow look and that's just what I've done with SugarPea Designs ParisScape die. I've paired the watercolored Paris skyline with my favorite SugarPea word die, Hello.

deconstructed simplicity

For this week's Color Throwdown Challenge in shades of aqua, purple, blue and yellow! I've used Reverse Confetti's Modern Floral Stack Confetti Cuts set along with a sentiment from PaperTrey Ink. I deconstructed both the die cut leaves and sentiment and then reassembled them on either side of a narrow strip of card stock to create a minimalist-modern-Orla-Kiely inspired card. Enjoy.

Color Throwdown 555 - hello

Hello.

I have my weekly Color Throwdown card to share with you featuring a dreamy combination of green, yellow, pink and lavendar. I'm not usually drawn to softer colors such as this, but I'm pleased with the results of my watercolored efforts.

I also want to share the inspiration for my card which I came across on my "Cool Cards" Pinterest board. THIS card by Joy Taylor served as my literal inspiration but I used Silhouette cut files to recreate the shapes of her card and then stamped the teeny 'hello' from PaperTrey Ink's Desktop Design (I don't believe it's available any longer).
