Reverse Confetti New Release Hop!

I'm so excited to kick off Monday with new goodies and blog hop from Reverse Confetti! I'm hopping with the RC team and guests with more inspiration for the new stamps and dies that are NOW available, so please take a look and a hop through the entire blog list detailed below.

My creation today is featuring one of the new adorable stamp sets, Enchanted Garden. I've also used a new word die simply named You, and a sentiment from the coordinating stamp set,You Coordinates. All of the adorable images are watercolored and nestle on a birch tree background which I made using Reverse Confetti's own Vertical Stripes Cover Panel. To create the birch trees, I simply swiped a medium gray Zig brush from the left and right edges of the die cut stripes in a random pattern.

I've got a second card in honor of today's hop in my signature clean and simple style, easily mass produced using any pattern papers you've on hand.

Color Throwdown #629

Happy Wednesday!

It's time for a new set of colors for this week's Color Throwdown Challenge.
We've got red, pink, black and white, just in time for handmade Valentines.

I found my way back to my favorite Numbers Plate  from The Cat's Pajamas, my favorite hearts from Home & Hearth, and a teeny sentiment from Sending & Wishing. And then, just for old time's sake, I added a snit of black gingham ribbon for just the right amount of fun.

How about a little inspiration from our team...

Color Throwdown 628

Soft hues of pink, purple, yellow and green make up this week's Color Throwdown Challenge,  featured in the timeless Valentine heart candies. Those sweet little boxes used to be such a big deal back in the day, and now I'm afraid they get lost among the plethora of candies that line the shelves for Valentine's Day. Anyone out there able to relate?

My card once again features stamps and dies from Reverse Confetti. I also did a bit of ink blending behind the XOXO to pull in that purple mountain majesty.

Time to click through more inspiration from the CTD team and guests. Thanks for stopping by today!
