SugarPea Designs Sweet Peek Week - Day 1

Are you ready for a fun-filled week of sneak peeks of the new products coming your way from SugarPea Designs?! I'm seriously in love with this release and know there's something for everyone!

I had such fun creating this slider car with To Infinity & Beyond. I colored all images with Zig markers and trimmed them with the coordinating SugarCut - To Infinity & Beyond dies.

I then created a slider card using the rounded rectangle die from Layered Treat Label. The sentiment is adhered to the cutie astro pup and slides right along with him toward his spaceship, so fun!

I can't wait for you to see what the rest of the SugarPea team has for you, so check out the blog hop order below for direct links to everyone. Thanks so much for stopping by today... see you tomorrow!

Reverse Confetti | Happy Birthday, Jen!

Happy Monday and Happy 40th Jen! The Confetti Crew is teaming up to spread all the birthday wishes to Jen on her birthday. The blog hop is filled with special birthday treats for Jen and can be found a bit further down in my post.

We know how much Jen loves ABC (anything but a card) projects, so I put together a project using my new favorite stamp set, Mod Floral Stack, along with my most favorite patterned paper from Cheerful and Kind.

I used the Mod Floral Stack Confetti Cuts dies for the bottom portion of the piece, cutting solid black cardstock in all three sizes of the leaves and stacking them as shown.

I then added the patterned paper and a sentiment from Mod Floral Stack in the upper frame.

A very clean and simple project that would be fun to recreate using the newly released Cue The Confetti 6x6 stack, yes?

Let's keep this party going, but before I go, I want to wish Jen a year ahead filled with love, laughter, health and happiness!

RC Blog Hop - Cue The Confetti

Welcome, welcome! I'm so happy to have you here today for a fun blog hop with Reverse Confetti. This month's non-release hop theme is all about patterned paper and I've used a bunch of the yummy new papers from Cue The Confetti 6x6 pad released last month. I love this fun and vibrant group of papers and found an inspiration piece on Pinterest that got my mojo a flowin'!

Here's a peek at my inspiration...which you can find here on Etsy.

Here's my take on it using the 'rock' die from Greatest Adventure Confetti Cuts to cut both patterned and solid papers.

I then added a sentiment from Mod Floral Stack and another white slanted layer for added interest and dimension.

Color Throwdown Challenge 505

Welcome to this week's Color Throwdown Challenge. I've chosen a trio of patterned papers from Reverse Confetti in this week's colors. The papers are from three of the 6x6 pads - True Love, Very Merry and Fright Night. Unfortunately Very Merry and True Love are no longer available (bummer,  I know). Following my favorite clean and simple style, I layered them on a Cloud White card base to really let them pop.

I also added a few Confetti Cuts to add simple detail and texture.

And a sentiment from the lovely new stamp set, Mod Floral Stack.

Here's a look at those Color Throwdown colors - gray, teal & pink.  I hope you can play along with this week's challenge.  Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the hop!
