Reverse Confetti Weekend Sale!

Happy Friday, everyone! I have a clean and simple card for you today featuring the August Sketch For You To Try with Reverse Confetti. I love this big ol' Lime Green apple popping out from simple black and white layers!

In addition to the All Apples Confetti Cuts, I've used the ABC Cover Panel and ruler from Worm Wishes for a clean, graphic look.

Color Throwdown 455

Isn't he adorable?! I just love this cutest monkey ever from SugarPea Designs. I've got him hanging from balloons in shades of this week's Color Throwdown palette - white, aqua, light pink and lavender.

Pastels are usually not my game, so this was a real challenge for me this week. I hope you'll come on out and challenge yourself as well. We'd love to see what you come up with, so please use keywords #colorthrowdown and #ctd455 on social media and CTD455 in public galleries.

RC Blog Hop - Color Me Mine

Welcome to the Reverse Confetti August blog hop featuring some of our favorite products from the July release in conjunction with a fun theme - Color Me Mine. Each of the RC designers has chosen a favorite color combination to feature during the hop, and I've chosen Lime Green, Avocado & Tangerine as mine. I love the two shades of green together and the pop that the Tangerine adds.

Along with my color combo, I'm also featuring one of my favorite sets from the July release - No Tomorrow. Such a cute couple of dinos and sweet sentiments as well.

This was my first try at a card in a box, so I kept it pretty minimal as far as layers but added in lots of extra interest with background stamping and die cut flags on which I stamped sentiments and layered No Tomorrow images.

I also decided to add a base to my box since I won't be folding it flat due to the wooden skewers used to pop up the flags. I thought the two shades of green made a nice little bed of grass.

Color Throwdown 454 - just be-paws

I'm so excited to be hosting this week's Color Throwdown Challenge and hope y'all can find a little time to come on out and play along. We're heading into the dog days of summer, so I chose this adorable inspiration photo and picked out green, white and kraft as our challenge colors. I have to admit - I can still slurp outta the hose with the best of 'em on a hot day. How about you?

My card uses Reverse Confetti's adorable Paw Prints and coordinating Paw Prints Confetti Cuts. I'm also using CAS(E) this Sketch challenge #232, and since the emphasis of that challenge is 'clean and simple', I left plenty of open white space and minimal layers.
