Welcome to the first day of Countdown to Confetti with Reverse Confetti! I know I always say this, but you are going to love, love, love this release. Seriously, folks, it's got something for everyone, and while I'm totally crushing on today's stamps and Confetti Cuts dies, I cannot wait to share something later in the week with you, so stay tuned!
I'm starting off with a sweet Halloween card featuring Frightening Friends and a super versatile Confetti Cuts set - Bags & Tags Creator. I'm also using this week's Color Throwdown palette which you can see below along with links to the rest of the CTD team and guests.
This new set of Halloween pals is so adorable! After coloring the images with Zig markers, I trimmed them with the coordinating Frightening Friends Confetti Cuts dies. I then created a little open window stage you could say using the Bags & Tags Creator dies. I can't get enough of that stitched detail around the opening. You'll definitely be seeing more of that in the future!
That fun polka dot paper you see is from the latest 6x6 pad - Abundant Autumn. It works perfectly with the Color Throwdown palette - orange, red and blue.

How about a little ABC project using Bags & Tags Creator?
I'll give you a quick run-down on how I put this one together since I've specifically designed it to house (1/2) of a Clear Treat Box found in the Packaging section of the Reverse Confetti store. Before I do that, I have to let you know that I used the negative strips from the striped tag die to create Frank's 'stitches' that you're seeing above and the coordinating BooYea stamp set for the tag. Of course, little Frank and the pumpkin are from Frightening Friends.
Here's a side view showing how I put the treat tote together: 1) cut twice from Lime Green and score 1-1/4" from the straight edge bottom; fold and adhere together, overlapping to leave just enough room for the Clear Treat Box 2) cut another panel from black or black patterned paper (Abundant Autumn) and fold over front and back as shown 3) decorate front as shown or as you'd like.
The tote width is snug enough for the clear box to stay put yet slide in and out. And, since it slides ina and out I was able to permanently close the fold-over layer. Before folding the clear box into a 3D shape, cut it in half, leaving you with two open top treat boxes. I had to throw that rubber mouse in there for fun!
Ok, it's time to hop around Reverse Confetti Land for more fun and inspiration! As always, check out the Reverse Confetti blog for Jen's awesome samples and full release information as well as PRIZE info!
