Color Throwdown 508

Hello, friends! I'm sharing this week's Color Throwdown Challenge using my new favorite stamp and die combo from Reverse Confetti, Mod Floral Stack and coordinating Mod Floral Stack Confetti Cuts.

The patterned papers I've used are from various Reverse Confetti 6x6 paper pads - Cue The Confetti, Fun Times and Cheerful & Kind.

SugarPea Designs Sweet Peek Week - Final Day!

Welcome to the final day of Sweet Peek Week with SugarPea Designs! We will be sharing sneak peeks of new products being released today, so be sure to stop by each of the blogs linked below for fun, inspiration and a chance to win the daily giveaway. On my card for this final sneak peek, I've used the Grateful word die in combination with the Eucalyptus Wreath stamp set. Isn't it gorgeous? After heat embossing the wreath, I went in with three shades of green Zig markers and dabbed color here and there before moving it around with a fine tip watercolor brush.  I then made an extended fishtail banner using the narrow banner die from the SugarCuts - Stitched Banner Trio set and folded the ends in and then back out to reveal the fishtail. I then added the Grateful die cut to it and adhered it to the center of the wreath.

SugarPea Designs Sweet Peek Week - Day 4

Welcome to Day 4 of Sweet 'EEK' Week!

I've had a blast sharing daily peeks of the Fall Product Release with you this week and am especially excited about my sneak peek of one of today's featured products, the SugarCut - Birthday Balloons die.  I've paired it with another of my favorite SugarPea dies - Message Letter Board to coordinate with the stamped sentiment from Darling Dragons that you see in the photo above.

I cut the purple balloons using the Birthday Balloons die and the white balloons with the balloon die from the SugarCut Birthday Journal Card set of dies. I also used circle dies to cut the black and green balloons and finally the small green balloons with the 'bubbles' die in Hocus Pocus (available Friday).

After arranging my balloon cloud, I used a small sheet of Press'n Seal® to hold it together from the front, flipped it over to apply glue and foam adhesive and then attached it to the message board as seen above.  I also added purple twisties and vellum balloon strings using more of the dies found in SugarCut Birthday Journal Card. One of today's featured products is a sweet dragon-filled stamp set called Darling Dragons. I don't know that I'd ever have thought of dragons as 'darling', but in the stamping world, any creature can be transformed into something darling these days! The images were colored and cut with the coordinating Darling Dragons SugarCut dies and set on a pile of wonky layers. The top layer was die cut with the Stardust SugarCut die, also part of the Fall Product Release.

SugarPea Designs Sweet Peek Week - Day 2

Ok, let's get on with the card that I've made with today's featured stamp set and stand along die set - Seeing Stars and Stacked Stars.

After die cutting the stars from rose gold glitter cardstock, I layered them on and tucked between layers of blush cardstock, popping up random stars with foam adhesive. I also wrapped gold thread around the middle of my layers and then added a gold embossed sentiment from Seeing Stars.

I am so excited about having these Stacked Stars SugarCut dies in my stash - just in time for Halloween and Christmas crafty projects!

SugarPea Designs Sweet Peek Week - Day 1

Are you ready for a fun-filled week of sneak peeks of the new products coming your way from SugarPea Designs?! I'm seriously in love with this release and know there's something for everyone!

I had such fun creating this slider car with To Infinity & Beyond. I colored all images with Zig markers and trimmed them with the coordinating SugarCut - To Infinity & Beyond dies.

I then created a slider card using the rounded rectangle die from Layered Treat Label. The sentiment is adhered to the cutie astro pup and slides right along with him toward his spaceship, so fun!
