Hi there! It's been a little while since my last post while I was enjoying lots of Christmas celebration with friends and family over the last week or so, and I'm (almost) ready to get back into a regular routine (next week). In the meantime, I've got a clean and simple card to share today featuring one of my favorite
Reverse Confetti sets,
God is Good.
I really wanted to pull the gold of the washi tape into the sentiment, so I gold embossed 'faith' and left the rest of the sentiment black. If you're wondering how I did it, you're in luck, because I'm going to tell you!
Using Versafine Onyx Black ink (you can emboss with it) and your MISTI stamping tool, stamp the sentiment once and leave the cardstock in the MISTI. Next, put repositionable tape on the areas of the stamped image you DON'T want to emboss and rub your anti-static pouch or tool over the entire area as you would before embossing. Now, get your embossing powder handy, reink the stamp and stamp the image again. Immediately apply embossing powder to the entire image, even on top of the tape. Carefully remove the tape, making sure you don't disturb the embossing powder on the word 'faith' and heat set as usual.
Before I go, I'd like to wish you all a very Happy New Year! I'm looking forward to sharing lots of crafty inspiration with you in 2016 as I continue to design for two wonderful companies, Reverse Confetti and SugarPea Designs. I'm a very lucky girl and I appreciate your love and support!
