Welcome to the Ingenious Inking Challenge hosted by My Favorite Things. This month's focus is on using MFT Hybrid Inks for your mixed media projects - the perfect choice due to it’s quick-dry, no-smudge
formulation.
My card features Black Licorice Hybrid Ink + Romantic Script Background stamped onto MFT Vellum after die cutting it with the Fancy Butterflies Die-namics.
The beauty of the Hybrid Inks is their fast-drying quality making it the perfect ink for stamping on vellum. My layered butterfly rests on a yummy Lemon Chiffon Fishtail Flag on which I also layered a sentiment strip. The die cut strip is stamped with Banana Split Hybrid Ink stripes and Steel Blue Hybrid Ink for the sentiment.
I used my Circle Grid Stencil and white embossing paste to add texture to the Grout Gray layer and then adhered the entire front panel to a Sweet Tooth A2 card base. Ripe Raspberry dots were die cut from Blueprints 21 and scattered randomly.
Thank you for taking time to stop for a look today. I hope you've found some inspiration for your next mixed media project and will consider the MFT Hybrid Inks. More inspiration can be found at the MFT Blog and links to all products below.
