MFT Wednesday Stamp Club

 

Happy Wednesday, everyone! It's time for this week's My Favorite Things WSC sketch, and I'm finally getting inky with the newly released + adorable set from Wendy Burns Designs: Cupcake Cutie. I simply adore this sweet, whimsical image (and her little dog, too!) and cannot wait to see more designs from Wendy!

Here's a little detail of her cute pooch and fancy rug stamped with Lisa Johnson's new set, Sweet Roses. I LOVE that there is a solid rose image that fits exactly over the outline image, for both roses in the set. That way you are able to fill the entire rose outline with color as you can see the darker shade of Sour Apple ink inside the rose, versus the Sour Apple card stock. You can also see the Distressed Diamonds background stamped in watermark ink on the black layer behind miss Cupcake Cutie.

Here's a fun and simple treat box to go with the Cupcake Cutie birthday card. I used the new Die-namics Scalloped Treat Box along with elements from Blueprints 1  and this month's Triple Scoop Set, Chocolate Sentiments, to create it. I think there's even room for a gift card along with that dark chocolate bar.

Finally, a peek at the inside of this birthday card with another Party Banner in Sour Apple to keep things simple and emphasize the sentiment.  All I can say is: I {heart} that sentiment. It gets me every time. Ü
