I've known about this for quite some time, but it really hit me when I sat down this week to stamp a birthday card for my oldest son, Hank, who is turning 18 on Friday?!?! Yes...he is. After quietly composing myself within the confines of my stamp room, I pulled out this week's MFT Wednesday Stamp Club sketch and got
A combination of Laina Lamb Design Die-namics and stamp sets, along with the Skyline Border and High-Rise Numbers was used to create the main collage. The rockin' the city theme was inspired by Hank's flurry of travels this spring: NYC on choir tour, Des Moines, IA for the NCAA Division I wrestling championships and a quick trip to Madison, WI earlier this week to check out the UW campus where he'll be settling in next fall. Finding the right elements in my stash of MFT stamps and Die-namics was nothing short of easy breezy. I like that.
Finally, a peek at the inside of the card stamped with birthday wishes from this month's Triple Scoop Set, Birthday Sentiments, topped with the smallest star from Stacking Stars. Happy birthday, Hank, so glad you're mine!
