Countdown to Confetti Day 3

It's day 3 of Countdown to Confetti with Reverse Confetti!
Tomorrow is release day, so be sure to stop back for more inspiration for all of those new goodies hitting the Reverse Confetti shelves.

Today's featured stamp set is of course adorable as illustrated by Dawn Machell for Reverse Confetti. It's all about the adventure, The Greatest Adventure.

All images from The Greatest Adventure were loosely watercolored with Zig markers and trimmed with the coordinating Confetti Cuts dies.  I also incorporated patterned paper from the new Cue The Confetti 6x6 pad and a strip of the Striped Circle Cover Panel.

Please visit the Reverse Confetti blog along with the design links below and leave a comment for a chance to win a gift certificate. Stop by the Reverse Confetti FaceBook page as well for a shot at an additional gift certificate being given away there. Good luck!

Countdown to Confetti Day 2

So glad you're here for the second day of Countdown to Confetti with Reverse Confetti. Today I'm sharing Mod Floral Stack and an absolutely yummy new 6x6 pad called Cue The Confetti.

I started by stamping each of the Mod Floral Stack leaves in Seafoam ink and then die cut them with the coordinating Mod Floral Confetti Cuts dies. Before adhering them to my card front, I added a strip of patterned paper from Cue The Confetti (I think it's my favorite 6x6 pad) as well as a narrow strip of white that I stamped repeatedly with a sentiment from Mod Floral Stack.

I just love the mix of the textured leaves and polka dots.
And how about the dreamy font of the sentiments.
All the happy.

Countdown to Confetti Day 1

Welcome to day one of Countdown to Confetti. You are in for a real treat over the next few days as we share sneak peeks of the latest and greatest Reverse Confetti products that will be released on July 8th. Today I'm featuring a beautiful new floral stamp set and a completely original Confetti Cut die.

The detail is gorgeous and so easy to create a toile background using the solid florals in Elegant Florals.

I've used a trio of yummy Reverse Confetti inks to create the set - Coral, Seafoam and Mist.

I love the angles of the Geo Panel in contrast with the soft florals.

Each of the sentiments is from The Most Beauty, another of today's featured products.

Please visit the Reverse Confetti blog along with the design links below and leave a comment for a chance to win a gift certificate. Stop by the Reverse Confetti FaceBook page as well for a shot at an additional gift certificate being given away there. Good luck!

Color Throwdown #500

Let's kick off Wednesday with the 500th Color Throwdown Challenge! That's a lotsa color combos, right? This week's colors are gold, navy, blush and white and we're using keywords CTD500 in public galleries and #ctd500 and #colorthrowdown on social media. We'd love to have you play along with us.

I had Paris on my mind and pulled together a combo of SugarPea Designs and Your Next Stamp products for my card design. The sweet lad is Pierre from France (no longer available from YNS), and the Eiffel Tower, sentiment and postage edge layer are all from SugarPea Designs which you can find linked below.

Color Throwdown 499

It's time for a new set of colors for this week's Color Throwdown Challenge, and we've got a fresh mix of green, yellow and blue for you to play with this week. I've used a combination of Reverse Confetti stamps for my card - Later Alligator & Coffee and You.

Isn't he all dapper in his cute yellow bow tie? And what a guy, surprising his friend with birthday coffee.  Just doesn't get much better than that!

The sentiment and cuppa are both from the Coffee and You set, and Al and his bow tie are included in Later Alligator. I colored all images with Zig markers, trimmed them with coordinating dies and then popped them up above the sentiment with foam adhesive.

Color Throwdown #498 + Mix It Up #44

Welcome to double challenge Wednesday! It's my turn to share my take on the SugarPea Designs Mix It Up Challenge for June as well as this week's Color Throwdown Challenge, so I've once again combined the two challenges using the MIU sketch and CTD colors - peach, light pink, hot pink and green.

I used one of my favorites from the SugarPea Summer Release -  Stuck On You. I die cut two of the planters in peach and hot pink and then filled them with succulents in various shades of green. I also highlighted the greens with Zig markers here and there and really like the added dimension it gives them. Finally, I added a lighter pink blossom to the cactus and a stamped sentiment, highlighting it with a Zig marker as well.

As I mentioned, I used the CTD challenge colors with the MIU sketch which you can see in the above graphics. I'd love for you to play along with both challenges. There's a prize giveaway for the MIU challenge which you can read all about HERE on the SugarPea blog. Before I go, I'll leave you with links to the rest of the Color Throwdown team for more color inspiration. Have fun!
