Sweet2Repeat Blog Hop

Happy Friday! Welcome to the SugarPea Designs Sweet2Repeat blog hop featuring more fun and inspiration from the June Release. Hop along and leave a comment for a chance at a $20 gift certificate to the SugarPea Designs store.

I did a bit of ink blending with the SugarCuts - Celebrate die and then adhered it to another layer of SugarPuff Foam for a bit of dimension. Then I adhered it to a layer of It’s A Celebration Patterned Paper that I trimmed with the largest SugarCuts - Stitched Flags

I used another sheet of the It’s A Celebration Patterned Paper for my base layer as well. I love how quick and easy cards come together using these coordinated paper pads!

YNS Dare + Color Throwdown 400

Hey all, I'm so excited to be guesting this month with Your Next Stamp and have a snappy little shaker frame for the YNS Dare Challenge - Frame It!  Have you checked out the July release over at YNS? If not, you really need to take time to do so I'm also on board with this week's Color Throwdown #400 - red, green and white.  I hope you have a few minutes to stop by both the Color Throwdown Blog and  YNS Blog for a chance to win a stamp set of your choice by leaving a comment.

I used Flippin' Fabulous along with Island Fun die set to create a fun little shaker frame using an embroidery hoop. After stamping and coloring the images on watercolor paper, I adhered it to the back of the hoop and then filled it with a fun shaker mix. Then, I die cut a large circle from acetate, adhered it to the front of the hoop and embellished it with a watercolored palm tree from Island Fun. I think this would make an adorable gift bag tag.

YNS July Release Blog Hop

I am so excited to be hopping along with the crew at Your Next Stamp for their July Release! As you are reading this post, all new product are available in the Your Next Stamp online store, so be sure to check it out! Before you do that, I have a nautical (or patriotic if you're from the US) themed card to share with you featuring Me Time.

Me Time is such a fun set with endless possibilities! I decided on a big comfy chair in red with a nautical themed throw pillow in blue that I stamped with an anchor from Sea Sentiments. Chair and pillow were trimmed using the coordinating Me Time die set, and then I added white Gumdrops as 'buttons' to give it that tufted look. I really wanted my chair and pillow to pop, so I clear embossed the Me Time sentiment for a subtle tone on tone look.

Karen always treats her customers to a great sale during new releases, and this month is no exception! Receive 20% off using the code YNSJULY20 as seen in the above graphic.

God Bless America!

Happy 4th of July weekend! I thought I'd use a few of my favorite products from Reverse Confetti and whip up a sweet little card to wish you all the best this holiday weekend. I'm also going to link up with the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge: Anything Goes.

I colored and cut that sweet birdie from The Tweet Life and perched him on a Stitched Flag Trio Confetti Cuts flag that I stamped and embossed a sentiment from Because Of The Brave. Then I pulled out my new Seeing Stars Confetti Cuts to add a bit of embellishment.

Thanks for stopping by today and have a great weekend!

Color Throwdown 399 - Ahoy!

It's Wednesday, and that means a new Color Throwdown Challenge starts today! I've used one of my favorite stamp sets from the Reverse Confetti June release - Seaside and coordinating Confetti Cuts - Seaside for this week's challenge card.

I stamped Seaside images in the challenge colors and then cut them out using the Confetti Cuts - Seaside dies. I used the Confetti Cuts - Wonky Scallop Border to create a wave  and then stamped a red striped border at the bottom using So Stripey.

Celebrate Summer Scoops!

My summer vacation has officially begun, and I'm kicking the week off with a bright and festive card featuring new SugarPea Designs stamps and dies just released last Friday. If you haven't checked out the release, I'd strongly encourage you to do so! Trust me on this one.

I stamped celebrate from Celebrate All The Things on the largest SugarCut – Stitched Flags with Versafine Onyx Black ink using my MISTI stamping tool and then layered a SugarCut – Summer Scoops popsicle that I stamped with the popsicle stripe stamp from the coordinating Summer Scoops set on the horizontal rather than vertically for something a little different. You know me, rule breaker! The patterned paper is from the Whatever The Weather pad, my favorite of the bunch!

Have a great Monday and thanks for stopping by today! You'll find my card along with more SugarPea Designs sweetness over a the SugarPea Designs Blog.
