Reverse Confetti April SFYTT

*click HERE for my SPD Sweet Sneak Peek post*

Happy Monday!  I have the Reverse Confetti April Sketch For You To Try to share with you today featuring products from the new release - All Apples and Tie-rific.

I die cut the Tie-rific Confetti Cuts pocket from an old pair of jeans and then layered a red felt apple that I die cut with All Apples Confetti Cuts. I couldn't resist adding a hand stitched A+ using Reverse Confetti's Solid Twine

After stamping a patterned background with one of the apples from All Apples in black ink, I trimmed it diagonally according to the sketch using the pinked edge from Edge Essentials Confetti Cuts and then layered it on the cork layer. And that's my school days SFYTT!

Reverse Confetti New Release Hop

Welcome to the Reverse Confetti new release blog hop! The entire hop lineup is listed toward the end of my post, so be sure to check it out. I'm so excited to share one last card from this release with you featuring a fun combination of the latest Confetti Cuts, so let's get started!

To create my sailing scene, I trimmed a layer of aqua with the wavy edge from Edge Essentials Confetti Cuts and then layered it with the same color cardstock die cut with Double Panel Circles Confetti Cuts and a sentiment banner using Bitty Banners Confetti Cuts and sentiment from Bear Hugs.

The boat was built with Squared Off Tag Topper Confetti Cuts and hand trimmed sails. I added a few sailor-stripes to the red sail using So Stripey and sprinkled a few wood veneer stars here and there. I always have fun mixing, matching and stretching my stamps and dies!

It's time to check in with the rest of the Confetti Crew, and I'm sure they have lots of inspiration in store for all those new goodies! By the way, have you already shopped, or are you still finalizing your cart? Either way, good luck and enjoy!

Countdown to Confetti - Bear Hugs

We are so close to tomorrow's release at Reverse Confetti, and today's feature is another adorable set from Dawn Machell called Bear Hugs, as in koala-cute bear hugs. No problem, I squealed, too.

I decided to create a black and white photo scene using Bear Hugs in combination with the Insta-Frame Confetti Cuts. A Copic expert I am not, but I sorta like the results of my primitive coloring skills.

I added a little background stamping to the A2 card base with the dad stamp from Tie-rific as well as a sentiment layered on the main image. To get my love message across loud and clear, I added a sliver of that sweet School Days Quick Card Panel with the tiny red heart pattern. Then, to add a little dimension and interest, I added Ranger Glossy Accents to each of their noses and the leaves on the trees.

Reverse Confetti is giving away two gift certificates, so leave a little love here and at the Reverse Confetti Facebook page for your chance to win! Thank you for your sweet comments during Countdown to Confetti, I always say it, and I always mean it - I love hearing what you think of the new products! Good luck and I'll see you tomorrow for the Reverse Confetti Blog Hop

Countdown to Confetti + CTD Guestie!

I am doubly excited about my post today because I'm not only sharing more Reverse Confetti sneak peeks, I'm able to tell you that I'm guesting with the Color Throwdown Challenge team all.month.long - double snaps! In honor of all my great news, I've combined today's Reverse Confetti sneak peek of Tie-rific with Color Throwdown #387.

The Tie-rific stamp set and coordinating Tie-rific Confetti Cuts has everything you need for the main man in your family. I had a ball mixing and matching the tie, pocket and sentiment. I layered everything on the corner of the Confetti Cuts Insta-frame

Remember that Reverse Confetti is giving away two $15 gift certificates - one blog commenter and one Reverse Confetti Facebook commenter. On Facebook, simply leave a comment under the graphic. Winners for both the blog comments and Facebook comments will be announced on the Reverse Confetti blog as well as on Facebook. I'm also leaving you a little love list of my fellow Color Throwdown girls for more CTD387 inspiration.

Countdown to Confetti - All Apples

Hi there and welcome to day 1 of Countdown to Confetti with Reverse Confetti. The new release will be available for purchase on April 8th, so between now and then, sit back and enjoy our sneak peeks of 4 stamp sets, 7 Confetti Cuts and Limited Edition Quick Card Panels - School Days. I'm sharing a couple things I made with All Apples - my favorite set from this release (who am I kidding, they're all fantastic)!

Who doesn't want a gold stemmed, green polka-dot apple, right?  Reverse Confetti products are perfect for mixing and matching to tailor fit any occasion, and I couldn't help but use the All Apples Confetti Cuts with the Confetti Cuts Globe and then took the school teacher vibe a little further, creating a 'brown bag' look with the (awesome-sauce) new Edge Essentials to trim the top of my tag.

My second project is a matchbook gift card holder that is quick and cute all in one! This time, I stamped All Apples in hot pink ink onto a Limited Edition QCP - School Days and then trimmed it using Tag Me.

Here's a view of the open card where I tucked a little gift card inside. I'm tickled to have a couple of teacher gift tags checked off the list and ready for the fast approaching school year end.

Reverse Confetti is giving up a $15 gift certificate to one lucky commenter, so leave a little love in the comment section before you leave today. Another gift certificate will be given away by commenting at the Reverse Confetti Facebook page as well. Good luck!
