SugarPea Designs Sweet Peek - Nuts About You!

Click HERE for my Reverse Confetti Blog Hop post.

Welcome to Day 2 of Sweet Peeks with SugarPea Designs! Today we're featuring three products that I'm literally nuts about - Wood Grain Journal Card, Stitched Autumn Icons and Nuts About You. The entire Fall Product Release will be available for purchase in the SugarPea Designs Store on Friday, September 11th at 6pm EST!

The Woodgrain Journal Card is perfect for adding a layer full of texture and perfect for pairing with the Autumn Icons dies. After die cutting my woodgrain panel, I then die cut the acorn into that panel and adhered Scor-Tape to the back of the acorn opening. I pressed my sticky acorn opening into a pile of gold micro beads and topped it with a black felt acorn cap. I'm sorta nuts about how it turned out!

The sentiment is from Nuts About You, a fun-filled fall stamp set that is today's giveaway prize, so be sure to leave a comment below for your chance to win it!

Countdown to Confetti Day 3 - You Can Do It!

Click HERE for my SugarPea Designs post.

Welcome to Day 3 of Countdown to Confetti with Reverse Confetti! If you're a coffee lover,  you're going to fall head over java with today's featured products - Caffeinated Cups, Caffeinated Cups Confetti Cuts and For the Love of Latte!

I decided to go a little artsy fartsy with Caffeinated Cups. I stamped and clear embossed the cup image in Versamark + light gray ink and then proceeded to paint in my coffee and hot pink cup. I also flicked a little of the brown ink here and there on the same panel.

My cup sleeve was die cut using the Confetti Cuts - Caffeinated Cups from a scrap of cardboard. I then stamped a sentiment (one of the many from which to choose) from For the Love of Latte. I love this sentiment and it's JUST what my cuppa tells me every morning, tee hee.

Thanks so much for your sweet comments over the past few days! Only one more day until all of these fabby stamps and dies are available, and if your list is long, leave a comment on the design team blogs as well as the Reverse Confetti Facebook page for a chance to win two $15 gift certificates!

SugarPea Designs Sweet Peek - Adorkable & Noted

Click HERE for my Reverse Confetti post.

Welcome to Day 1 of SugarPea Designs Sweet Peek Week! I'll be sharing Sweet Peeks with you all week as an official member of the SugarPea Design Team, and I couldn't be more excited to share this fun and adorable release! Today's featured sets are Adorkable and Noted (you can see full product graphics below), so let's get started...

Noted pairs perfectly with the SugarCuts - Notebook Journal Card right along with the fun school themed stamps from Adorkable. I LOVE that you can stamp the vertical and horizontal notebook paper lines separately - such a smart design.
After stamping my notebook paper lines onto a die cut journal card, I stamped and colored the beakers and then added a bit of shine to them, as well as the stamped hearts, with a layer of Glossy Accents. It just adds a bit of fun dimension and bounce.

Remember our entire Fall Product Release will be available for purchase in the SugarPea Designs Store on Friday, Sept 11th at 6:00 PM EST!

Countdown to Confetti Day 2 - Pumpkin Patch

Welcome to Day 2 of Countdown to Confetti with Reverse Confetti! Yesterday's card was sweet and whimsy, but today's card takes a different route with bold, classic colors. Introducing Pumpkin Patch!

I love, love, love all of those cool painted pumpkins you see on Pinterest and wanted to replicate that look, so I stamped my Pumpkin Patch pumpkin in Versafine Onyx Black ink and then clear embossed it. After that, I went  in with a gold gel pen and filled in the open lettering.

For the pumpkin stem, I used the coordinating Confetti Cuts die to trim a scrap of cardstock with a layer of gold washi tape covering it. Easy-peasy and a great way to make things matchy-match.

Remember to stop by the Reverse Confetti Blog for all the juice and more inspiration! Did you know that RC is giving away a $15 gift certificate on the RC Facebook page as well as one lucky blog comment-er?! Leave a little love in comment box before you go for your chance!

Countdown to Confetti - Day 1

I am so excited to be joining in on my first official Countdown to Confetti with Reverse Confetti! You are going to melt when you see the cuteness overload on today's featured stamp set, Too Cute to Spook, aack! A few details - we have 3 days of sneak peeks for you (September 5-7) so be sure to set your alarm and come back to see me and the Confetti Crew each day.

Too cute to spook, right?

There's also a coordinating Too Cute to Spook Confetti Cuts to take care of any fussing cutting, and it also makes scene building a breeze! My scene just happens to be based on the current Freshly Made Sketches with a watercolor backdrop. I used watercoloring on all of the Too Cute to Spook images as well.

I'm not a big fan of spiders in general, but I'd take this little guy home in a heart beat! Sorry for all the gushing, but I love. him. (or her)

RC Shine + Sweet Sunday Sketch

I had to take advantage of a great sketch from the crew at the Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge Blog and recreated my Monday card using an awesome stamp in the God is Good stamp set from Reverse Confetti as my focal point. To create the watercolor background, I used three shades of yellow dye ink and a big, fat watercolor brush, layering swipes of color until I got enough depth to really allow that beautiful sentiment to 'shine' through.

Same as Monday's card, I made a full layer shaker card using clear micro beads, rain stones and seed beads as fill. The turquoise enamel dots are set in place, falling from the die cut cloud that is actually attached to the outside of the acetate.

I'll be back again on Saturday with the sneak peeks of the next Reverse Confetti release, so be sure to come back then. I promise, you won't be disappointed - it's a fa-boo-lous release!
