Today's project features two fabby Die-namics that work seamlessly together, or all on their own -
Home Sweet Home &
Treat Tote Die-namics. I've coordinated their efforts in the shape of a holiday gift basket to hand out to your favorite four legged canine, or Fido in this case.
After building my
Treat Tote Die-namics from
Steel Grey card stock to match the
Rounded Banner Die-namics front door 'opening', I added a
Kraft house panel from
Home Sweet Home, stamped with my new love -
Woodgrain Background in
Steel Blue ink. In lieu of the scalloped edge roof line from
Home Sweet Home, I opted for an
Icicle Border roof line spritzed with
Mix-ables Sheer Shimmer Mist (sorry that my photos don't show the shimmer).
Here's a closer look at Fido's doggy door, complete with a holly & ivy adorned bone decoration using
Die-namics Christmas Ornaments and
Die-namics Pet Charms in
Primitive White,
Red Hot and
Jellybean Green card stocks.
Here is a peek at the inside of the
Treat Tote, complete with a treat bag for Fido.
I started with a
Red Hot Pierced Tag Die-namics stamped with
Striped Backgrounds and then fashioned it with
Little Letters Die-namics, a bone from
Pet Charms,
Hemp Cord and a silver jingle bell. I'm so in.love. with
Striped Backgrounds that the dog bone even got the stripe-y treatment in Sour Apple.
Finally, a look at the back side of Fido's holiday house decorated with a the fishtail flag element from
Blueprints 7 and topped with a
Pierced Oval STAX labeled with
Little Letters Die-namics. Of course, I stamped the
Pierced Oval with
Striped Backgrounds...just 'cause.
Thank you for stopping by to see today's
Release Countdown project. I hope I've inspired you to look at using your
MFT Stamps and
Die-namics to
personalize your holiday gift giving this year! For more inspiration, head on over to the
MFT Blog for links to all designers playing along with today's
Release Countdown.
