Color Throwdown - best day ever

Color Throwdown #477

Happy Wednesday! Thanks for joining me for Color Throwdown Challenge #477 - orange, aqua and grey. I'm using a new-to-me set from Reverse Confetti for my card today, Leaping Lions. Isn't he adorable?!

If you've visited here before, you probably know I love coloring the Dawn Machell sets with my beloved Zig markers. Just love the watercolor look on these darling images. After adding color and die cutting the images with the coordinating Leaping Lions Confetti Cuts, I arranged them inside a Scalloped Squares Confetti Cuts frame and stamped a simple sentiment below.

Reverse Confetti January Release Hop

Welcome to the Reverse Confetti January Release blog hop! You're in for a treat today, because in addition to the Confetti Crew and 'Fetti Friends creations, we've got some superstars joining us for today's hop. The entire list is linked below.

My card features the lovely new Something Wonderful which I've used to create a toile background on a Pierced Round Top Layer Confetti Cut tag.

I then stamped a sentiment from Something Wonderful on a strip of Kraft cardstock trimmed with the Stitched Flag Trio Confetti Cuts die and secured it across the tag. Clean and simple with lots to love.

Countdown to Confetti - Day 3

Welcome to Countdown to Confetti with Reverse Confetti. Each day the Confetti Crew and 'Fetti Friends are introducing new products that will be released at Reverse Confetti on January 8th (that's tomorrow!). I put together a personalized Valentine for my son who is really into basketball and his "trick shots" videos that he and a friend put together every few weeks. They call themselves OJ Trick Shots, so I used their signature colors - orange and green, in lieu of traditional Valentine colors. Above is a Kindness Cards Confetti Cuts panel stamped with words and images from the coordinating Kindness Cards stamp set. The 'orange' was created using Fresh and Fruity Confetti Cuts (which is on sale).

I used Heart Filled Sentiments on the Tag Duo Confetti Cuts tag and then embossed the tag to look like a basketball. I used the embossed circle from Detailed Circles for the curved lines and the long side of the Insta-Frame Confetti Cuts for the straight line down the middle. Just in case you're wondering, the Mini Clear Box is filled with orange slices (of course!).

This adorable new set is called Heart Spots and I think it's just purr-fect for all of your upcoming Valentine creations. Look at those adorable heart-shaped spots on the cheetahs...or leopards (we like choices) - so clever! After coloring and die cutting the images from Heart Spots, I created a little scene on the rounded rectangle from Kindness Cards Confetti Cuts (more on that tomorrow). All of the patterned paper is from the new Forever My Love 6x6 pad - isn't it fun?!
