Color Throwdown 402 - Hi There

It's Wednesday, and that means a new Color Throwdown Challenge starts today! I've used one of my favorite Dawn Machell designed stamp sets from Reverse Confetti - Too Cute To Spook because the challenge colors reminded me a bit of Halloween although I didn't end up with a Halloween themed card, and that's called stretching your stamps!

I started by watercoloring a background in the blue and green shades and then colored and cut the images from Too Cute To Spook using the coordinating Confetti Cuts - Too Cute To Spook. Since I decided to NOT go with a Halloween look, I combined a sentiment from Bear Hugs and clouds from Weather It Together. I love mixing and matching the Dawn Machell line of stamps and dies!

This is just too much fun Amy! I love how the watercoloring almost looks like a child's drawing.

What an adorable tag and so clever that used the Halloween stamps for a summer card! I can attest to spider webs this time of year as there is one VERY determined spider who persistently builds a huge web over my kitchen door!

Hi Amy ~ this tag is absolutely adorable and I love the watercoloring you've done. You really hit the nail on the head in using the inspiration piece to create your fun tag. Thanks so much for sharing.

Adorable, Amy! I don't think I'd mind spiders so much if they were purple and cute like yours!! Such a sweet tag!!
