I'm giddy about my card today! It features a sweet new set from Wendy Burns Design called Best Friends. My original plan was to use the adorable girl (stamp) included in Best Friends but ended up paring it down to the two doggy-do stamps and accessories. You'll see that adorable girl later!
Best Friends is so well planned out as it includes two dog stamps and two sweater stamps, allowing you to make a fun little scene with opposing pups! After stamping all of the black line images in Black Licorice ink (dogs, sweaters, mirror and sentiment - so cute), I flipped the sweater stamps over and used the back of the stamp to add Steel Blue and Razzle Berry color to each sweater...make sense? And that's called gettin' more bang for your
Inside the card is another sentiment from Best Friends that is totally perfect for my doggy love scene on the front. I've stamped the sentiment in Black Licorice on a layer of Razzle Berry that I die cut with the largest element of Blueprints 10. The Black Licorice border detail on the bottom is MFT's trendy new Moroccan Tile Border.
Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you'll find your way back tomorrow for another day closer to the new release at My Favorite Things on Tuesday, December 10th at 10pm EST! Complete details at the MFT Blog.

SOOO cute, Amy! I Love how you flipped the doggie jacket stamp to the solid side and added the colour...fabulous idea and I love how the solid colour over-laps the jacket a bit...it adds to the whimsical-ness (if that is a word) :)

Such a cute card. We lost our dog on Friday morning so this is a bittersweet set to look at for me. She lived an amazing 15 years with us so for that I feel lucky.
