MFT Release Rewind

Welcome to the monthly Release Rewind with MFT! This is the time where Team MFT shares a few more ideas using the Brand New products just released last week at My Favorite Things. You can find complete details at the MFT Blog.

I'm in love with the new Die-namics Snow Globe and had a few more ideas floating around in my head; namely this one, featuring the Snow Globe, Snowflake Splendor, Sheet Music Background and the Eiffel Tower Die-namics.

A Blu Raspberry Snow Globe base and sentiment from Ornament Banner Builder finishes off this Parisian snow flurry.

Inside you'll find more snowflakes in Blu Raspberry and Steel Blue along with another sentiment from Ornament Banner Builder on a strip of Kraft card stock.

My second card features the adorable snowman from the Pure Innocence Trim the Branches Snowman and More Washi Patterns.  Both the sentiment from Holiday Subway Art and the snowman were stamped on Black Licorice card stock in Sweet Tooth ink. Before stamping them though, I rubbed a tiny bit of Sweet Tooth ink onto the Black Licorice layer to give it a chalk dust look.

To add a bit of depth and fun, I stamped another snowman on Primitive White card stock, colored in the nose and scarf and paper pieced it onto the chalkboard layer. I also gave the paper pieced snowman layer and Steel Blue stars from Blueprints 8 a spritz of Mix-ables Sheer Shimmer Mist for a snowy sparkle.

The inside is simply stamped with a sentiment from Trim the Branches Snowman in Black Licorice and the snowman image in Blu Raspberry.

I hope you've enjoyed this month's Release Rewind and have found more inspiration for the goodies you may already have from this release, or those goodies still on your wish list! You will find direct links to all products used on today's cards below. Thanks for stopping and have fun shopping!
