New Product Tour: You're Invited + Jumbo Party Hat Die-namics

The waiting is over and it's time to shop, shop, shop for all those Brand Spankin' New products, but wait...we've got more MFT goodness for you with the New Product Tour! Check out the MFT blog for complete New Product Tour information.  I'm here to inspire you with projects using this month's Triple Scoop Set - You're Invited along with Jumbo Party Hat Die-namics to create invites for three different party occasions: baby, birthday and graduation, so grab a cup of your favorite and let's get the party(s) started!

First up is a fun birthday invitation for someone turning 6. I've used a bright, fun color combination: Orange Fizz, Red Hot, Banana Split and my favorite MFT neutral (to me), Steel Blue. The Red Hot base was cut using the largest rounded rectangle from Blueprints 5 and stamped top and bottom with half of the Jumbo Mod Borders chevron. Layered on top is a Steel Blue 3x4 Pocket Die-namics embellished with an Orange Fizz '6' using Big Numbers Die-namics and a Bitty Banner in Banana Split.

The 3x4 Insert was first stamped with the Library Card background in Sno Cone and then with the elements for the invite using stamps from You're Invited and Bitty Banners. I've had so much fun combining Bitty Banners with the other sets and Die-namics from this release!

Here are the products used on the Birthday Book Party:

Next up is a fairly quick and easy graduation invite that uses Big Numbers, Black Licorice, Kraft and Banana Split card stock based again on the largest rectangle from Blueprints 5. The title 'grad PARTY' is embossed with white embossing powder but the other stamped elements from You're Invited and Jumbo Mod Borders are simply stamped in white pigment ink.

The year '13 from Big Numbers Die-namics is cut into my shimmery Black Licorice base and backed with Banana Split card stock, then tied up with Hemp Cord to pull in the Kraft elements up top. Here you can also see the stamped lines from You're Invited using watermark ink. But my favorite part of this invite is the shimmer added with Mix-ables Steel Shimmer Mist! Along with the bottom border and Banana Split color, I think it resembles a highway, symbolic of the road the new graduate is headed down after graduation. Ok, call me kwazy!

Here are the products used on '13 Grad Invite:

Saving the best for last, here is my nautical baby shower ensemble! I love the combination of Steel Blue and Banana Split, and it's complemented so very well with Primitive White card stock.

I love the Blueprints 5 largest rounded rectangle for the base of today's invites! It is the perfect size, not too big nor too small, and so 'finished' with the rounded corners and bit of embossed edge. Love. You're Invited is stamped in Steel Blue on top of a Washi Patterns strip in Banana Split ink. Easy peasy and looks so cool (at least I think so). The bottom edge is embellished with a Pierced Circle STAX topped with a Seaside Charms anchor in Steel Blue. I kept the Hemp Cord knot simple for easy mass production.

The banner is made from three of the Jumbo Party Hats Die-namics turned upside-down. Can you tell that I couldn't put down the Washi Patterns diagonal stripe stamp?! It's all over the place, on the scalloped banner toppers and the Bitty Banners fishtail flags.

Baby is spelled out using letters rearranged from Die-namics Happy Birthday in Steel Blue.

The welcome stamp is from Bitty Banners along with the Seaside Charms anchor. You can also see the star detail here, another stamp from Bitty Banners.

Finally, a sweet Nantucket-style Picnic Basket centerpiece filled with coordinating Die-namics Onesie(s). See, I can't stop with the Washi Patterns diagonal stripe!

Here is a view of the Primitive White Picnic Basket front which shows a bit more of Die-namics Sentiments Strips 2 stamped with a sentiment from Bitty Banners and, of course, Washi Patterns! I got all fancy and Googled how to tie me one of those nautical knots using Hemp Cord, and since this is going to be a centerpiece that I most likely won't mass produce, it was worth the extra time to tie a decorative knot, although one on each table would be nice. Ü

Thanks for hanging with me, and I sure hope I've inspired you with my projects using You're Invited and Jumbo Party Hat Die-namics! Enjoy the Brand Spankin' New products at MFT, I know I did!
