It's someone's birthday today, and her name is Wendy Bond! I'm so excited to be part of her birthday blog hop...here's to ya, Wendy! I've gotten to know Wendy while working on the MFT WSC Challenge Team together, and I can tell she's just one of the girls that I HAVE to meet someday in real life, because I have a sneaking suspicion that we have a lot in common, and we could probably get ourselves into a bit of trouble!My card uses a fun mix of Cosmo Cricket's Circa 1934 papers and a sweet, yet mischievous birthday bunny from The Cat's Pajamas. It's hard to see on the photo, but the frosting on the cake is that shiny meringue frosting...you know, the kind you have to beat and beat and beat til it forms soft peaks? Wouldn't you know, I stuck my darn finger in it before it was dry, trying to tie the gingham bow--geesh, I have no patience!
