My sweet little PI You Make the Grade girl looks waaaay more excited about school than I am right now. I'm just having a hard time juggling everything, getting back to work full time, taking care of the kids and hubby, and finally finding time to stamp! I've colored her with a combination of Copics and colored pencils & gamsol and then matched her up with cute October Afternoon papers. I think my favorite part of this card is the Die-namics oval chain border. I'd originally thought I'd put the border at the top of the patterned piece and then played around with the placement and thought it made a nice home just where you see it.

These are both so fun!! Love the "School" background and details you added to your card. Sweet image and layout on your first creation. The paper piecing and design is gorgeous and so fun on the 2nd.
That paper is great on its own, but with the image centered in the green, makes it look like you stamped a vintage border around it! Nice!
