Paper Smooches May Release Blog Hop

It's Pep Rally week and we are here today to share a sampling of the NEW Paper Smooches MAY release with you!  TWO new stamps and TEN new dies will be available to purchase on April 30th at 8:00pm pacific time. Once our release goes live, you will find our new products HERE.
To add extra fun to our blog hop...we are offering up a prize!
The prize - a $25 gift code to choose what you like at the PS online store.

Here are the details:
  • FOUR winners will be chosen at RANDOM from any of the design team blogs and the PS Blog to win the $25. prize.
  • Just leave a comment on any of the design team blogs listed below or the PS blog for your chance to win!  (you do not need to comment on all blogs to qualify but it increases your changes)
  • Deadline: You have until midnight PT on Sunday, April 26th to leave a comment.
  • Please check the Paper Smooches blog on Monday, April 27th to see if you are one of the FOUR lucky winners.

I'm sharing the Tooth Fairy Die which I used to create a soft and sweet pillow for the big 'exchange' (wink). The Tooth Fairy Die set comes complete with a pocket die perfectly sized to hold a tooth. I left the top portion of the tooth die cut 'open' for tooth fairy loot to be tucked inside.

The Tooth Fairy Die was screaming to be made into a shaped card, so I obliged. This one happens to be a 'girl' tooth complete with a fuzzy pink skirt and crown. The scalloped edge of the skirt is the (new) Waves Die and cat glasses stamp from Incognito.

Here's a list of designers in today's blog hop (can't wait to hop along with you):

To increase your chances of winning:
  • Tell us that you Facebooked about our blog hop
  • Tell us that you Tweeted about our hop
  • Tell us that you posted on your blog about our blog hop
(which means that you have up to three extra chances to win on each blog)

I'm so happy to be playing along with the Paper Smooches team and look forward to sharing more smooches from the upcoming release, so stay tuned!

Administrative Professionals' Day - Thank You!

As is often the case (and I love an excuse to get crafty), I was once again asked to create cards for our Administrative Professionals for their big day this tomorrow. I enlisted the help of my Silhouette Studio software and personal printer.

Use your Silhouette files to print (no cut) customized cards and crafts.

You Color My World

Welcome to Ink About Me!

I have a fun card to share with you today that hits three challenges: Paper Smooches SPARKS Picture Perfect Challenge, Simon Wednesday Challenge (create your own background) and the current Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge (#264). That's what you call getting three birds stoned!

I created my background using this technique along with a sprinkle of gold embossing powder which I heat set.

The gold embossed sentiment and stamped stars are from Paper Smooches Word Salad and Birthday Buddies.

Unassembled Card Kit Sampler

Happy Saturday! I've got a set of card kits to share that I  put together for an elderly lady who loves to make cards but has some limitations with her fine motor skills. The cards pictured are not assembled with adhesive and embellishments so that she can assemble them at her leisure and make any modifications to the design suggestion that she desires.

I had fun mixing and matching products from various companies including Papertrey Ink, My Favorite Things, Simon Says Stamp and Paper Smooches. Thanks for stopping by today, I hope you leave a little more ink-spired!

Wishing You Happy Birthday

Yesterday I was 'sending' and today I'm 'wishing' using these swirly-sweet dies from Simon Says Stamp along with the coordinating set,  Sending and Wishing.

Remember when you first started stamping and had to decide on those starter sets that would meet your every need? Yep, these dies and stamps would definitely be on the starter must-have list. My card is also going on the link up for Simon Says Happy Birthday Challenge going on now.

Thanks for taking a peek today!

Sending You Smiles

I have been 'in love' with the Sending and Wishing dies and coordinating stamp set from Simon Says Stamp for let's say a considerable amount of time, and since I have considerable amount of freedom in my stamping time these days, I thought I'd make them mine and get on with life!

I once again employed the ink-on-acetate smooshing technic for a dreamy watercolor background and then added side stripes for contrast.

I hope you're looking forward to a weekend filled with saving grace, chocolate eggs and time with family and friends.

Thanks for stopping by.
