Sweet Peek Week - Flurry of Warm Wishes

Welcome to Sweet Peek Week with SugarPea Designs! All week long we'll be sharing sneak peeks of designs using new release products available Friday, October 2oth. There are daily giveaways, so be sure to leave a comment here and at the SugarPea Designs blog for your chance to win.  Good luck!

I created a clean and simple style card using Flurry of Warm Wishes along with my new favorite tag die that you'll see more of on Friday (stay tuned!). I also added in a die cut snowflake, also included with the tag die...another staple to add to your arsenal.

The color palette is this week's Color Throwdown Challenge - purple, black and white. I think I'd like to recreate this card,  either white or clear embossing the snowflake and then watercoloring over it with purple. What do you think? Again, stay tuned!

Ok, time to see how the rest of the Color Throwdown crew and guests are inspiring us (awesome stuff) and then more links to all SugarPea designers and guests below.

I've also used the new SugarCuts - Stitched Border (Free wtih $60 Incentive Set) dies to add a bit of texture and interest to the sentiment layers along with some fun new snowflake dies that you'll see more of tomorrow.

Color Throwdown #464 + Mix It Up #36

Welcome to Color Throwdown #464 and the October Mix It Up Challenge with SugarPea Designs. I just so happen to be hosting Color Throwdown this week and would love to have you play along.

My card uses the Mix It Up sketch and Color Throwdown palette - orange, black and taupe. The Stitched Autumn Icons dies are a must have for your fall creations and pair perfectly with the Woodgrain Journal Card, also from SugarPea Designs. The sentiment is from Funky Wreath - All Seasons, stamped on a Stitched Flags layer.

Reverse Confetti Blog Hop

Welcome to the Reverse Confetti blog hop featuring some of our favorite products from the September release. I have a sweet and simple Christmas card featuring Christmas Bear and Sentimental Christmas.

I so enjoy coloring these critters and arranging fun little vignettes with them. As my usual, the images are colored with Zig markers and die cut with coordinating Christmas Bear Confetti Cuts. I just love the font used in Sentimental Christmas and wanted to really balance the scene with the boldness of the sentiments. Rather than my usual black ink, I opted to gold emboss the sentiment to pull in the gold star on the tree.

Ok, it's time to hop along. Just follow the order below and enjoy all of the eye candy the team has for you today. I can't wait to see them myself. Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Color Throwdown #463 - Be Not Afraid

Welcome to this week's Color Throwdown challenge! Broni is our hostest with the mostest, so be sure to stop by the Color Throwdown blog for her creation along with the rest of the team and guests.

orange | kraft | white

Before you know it, gun hunting season will be here in my neck of the woods, so I couldn't help but think of blaze orange when looking at the colors. I combined a blaze orange bomber hat from S'more Love with the cutest moose ever from Merry Christmoose and a sentiment from Walk By Faith. I intended for the sentiment to be punny, but you could totally go either way with it.

I hope you'll make a little time to play along with us this week, we'd love to see what you create. Please use keyword CTD463 in public galleries and #ctd463 and #colorthrowdown on social media  sites.
