SugarPea Designs Sweet Sneaks - Day 2

Hi there! I'm back for day 2 of SugarPea Sweet Peeks with a stamp set that speaks my language - Wine Not! I'm also showing off the rectangle version of yesterday's Zig Zag Stitched dies which are so fun, AND I think they pair perfectly with my vintage wine photo. Keep reading to the end of today's post to find out how you can win Wine Not!

A Copic master I am not, but I did my best to color this adorable wine-smashing image in vintage mode as I could using the following Copics - W7, W5, W3,W1 and a colorless blender. I followed a few different tutorials found on Pinterest, primarily this one. 

Isn't this sentiment from Wine Not just perfect for my look?! I layered another die cut Zig Zag Stitched Rectangle beneath my 'vintage photo' and tied them together for that stack of old photos/postcards look.

SugarPea Designs Sweet Sneaks - Day 1

I am so excited to be guest designing with Sugar Pea Designs this month and next! Join me each day this week as I'll be sweet peeking with the Sugar Peas crew starting with an adorable set today called Tons of Fun. It has the cutest elephant you ever did see along with a great variety of sentiments! Be sure to read all the way through my post to find out how YOU can win Tons of Fun. 

 Also featured today is a nested die set called Zig Zag Circles which I used to make an opening for a balloon shaker. My cute elephant is gold embossed as well as his party hat (so stinkin' cute) and is holding onto his balloon with a gold string which I created by trimming a thin piece of gold card stock. 

The stripey pink edge was made using the solid ribbon stamp included in Tons of  Fun. Gotta stretch those stamps whenever you can!

Mama Elephant Rainbow Challenge

Hi, all! I'm doing a quick blog post from Alaska while I'm visiting my yummy new grandson for a week, the cutest, sweetest baby ever (says every grandma)! And, since they're sleepy heads and I'm awake (CST vs. PST), I'm taking a few minutes to blog about a sweet little card I'm posting for the July Mama Elephant Flickr challenge.

I cannot put down my Zig Clean Color Markers, so they've once again done their watercolor magic on this adorable image from Mama Elephant's Potted Pretties set. I've had the best results watercoloring images that I've embossed because the slightly raised lines of the image help keep the colors separated.

Reverse Confetti SFYTT - Thankful

I decided to pull out a couple stamp sets from Reverse Confetti and play along with their current Sketch For You To Try (SFYTT) - Whole Lotta Dots & Forever Fall.

The watercolor background was inspired by Laura Bassen's card which you can see HERE and is the reason I bit the bullet and bought a set of Zig Clean Color markers. Such an enabler is that girl! I kept the other layers of the sketch very neutral so the background could shine through.
