Release Countdown Day 2 - Bring on the Cake!

My card today features a few cake-a-licious products - Diagonal Stripes Stencil,  Bring on the Cake Die-namics and Delicious Birthday stamp set, or as I like to say 'de-wish-us'!

Introducing my (sorta) clean and simple card featuring Bring on the Cake in Limeade card stock, topped with a sentiment from Delicious Birthday in Sweet Tooth ink.

I was fully intending to keep things clean and simple but then decided I needed to add a bit of embossing paste in the background with the 'de-wish-us' new Diagonal Stripes Stencil. I'm so glad I pulled out that stencil because it reminds me of yummy frosting! And, wadda ya think of this sorta retro looking color combo? I'm thinking Banana Split and Limeade are definitely are going to be seeing more of me in the future!

I finished off the inside with more Diagonal Stripes Stencil and Washi tape stamped with more sentiments from Delicious Birthday in Limeade and Pink Lemonade ink.

MFT Release Countdown Day 3 - Wish Big

Welcome to Day 3 of Release Countdown with My Favorite Things, I'm so glad you're here! Be sure to check out the full reveals of all of today's featured products on the MFT Blog, but before you do that, I have a card to share with you featuring the Pinking Edge STAX Die-namics and Diagonal Stripes and Confetti Background stamps. 

I've also enlisted the help of Delicious Birthday for the perfect birthday sentiment.  A single die-cut candle from Bring on the Cake replaces the 'i' in wish for added dimension. I actually layered 3 of the candles for more boost, a fun technic I've seen around crafty-land lately. 

Here's a closer look at the Pinking Edge STAX all stamped and layered up. I created a 'gift' behind the medallion using Fishtail Flags for a quasi bow and a die-cut layer from Blueprints 15 for the gift. 

I finished the inside of the card with more of the Confetti Background stamps in Grout Gray and Banana Split Hybrid Inks and a sentiment in Steel Grey from Delicious Birthday.

MFT Release Countdown Day 4 - Like Totally Happy 4U!

Welcome to Day 4 of Release Countdown Week, we're crossing over the hump on our way to the release of fabby new products from My Favorite Things! Definitely check in at the MFT Blog daily for complete countdown highlights.

Today's card features a new Die-namics Cover Up - Square Grid. I've used the grid itself and a few of the negative space squares to create a punchy '80's inspired collage, if you can 'totally' go there with me! I started by using only a portion of my Square Grid Cover Up, placed it on the diagonal and topped it with more new stamps and dies from  Happy Everything stamp set, Happy Everything Die-namics and Tag Builder Blueprints 1 Die-namics.

I love the totally '80's  neon look of the Razzle Berry and Sour Apple against Steel Grey. I added uneven 'spatters' of  MIX-ables Sheer Shimmer Mist to complete the look.

Inside shows a bit more of the Tag Builder Blueprints 1 Die-namics and another sentiment from Happy Everything.
