Welcome to this week's Color Throwdown Challenge. Lisa is our hostess this week and she's picked out a vibrant fall color scheme - eggplant, rust and olive. I used two of the colors as my base layer and fishtail flag embellishments and simply colored my Reverse Confetti Fall For You wreath in shades of olive using Zig markers. Clean and simple to let that beautiful wreath take center stage.

Holiday Release - Now Available

My card today was inspired by some super cool (to me) holiday gift wrap I spied on Pinterest.

I'm so in love with the teeny stars background stamp included in Christmas Tag Greetings - so many possibilities (think baby & Halloween!). I also added in black die cut snowflakes using the Snowflake Tag dies. This tag has literally stolen my heart!

I created a clean and simple style card using Flurry of Warm Wishes along with my new favorite tag die that you'll see more of on Friday (stay tuned!). I also added in a die cut snowflake, also included with the tag die...another staple to add to your arsenal. 

The color palette is this week's Color Throwdown Challenge - purple, black and white. I think I'd like to recreate this card,  either white or clear embossing the snowflake and then watercoloring over it with purple. What do you think? Again, stay tuned!

Color Throwdown #464 + Mix It Up #36

Reverse Confetti Blog Hop

Welcome to the Reverse Confetti blog hop featuring some of our favorite products from the September release. I have a sweet and simple Christmas card featuring Christmas Bear and Sentimental Christmas.

I so enjoy coloring these critters and arranging fun little vignettes with them. As my usual, the images are colored with Zig markers and die cut with coordinating Christmas Bear Confetti Cuts. I just love the font used in Sentimental Christmas and wanted to really balance the scene with the boldness of the sentiments. Rather than my usual black ink, I opted to gold emboss the sentiment to pull in the gold star on the tree.

Color Throwdown #463 - Be Not Afraid

Before you know it, gun hunting season will be here in my neck of the woods, so I couldn't help but think of blaze orange when looking at the colors. I combined a blaze orange bomber hat from S'more Love with the cutest moose ever from Merry Christmoose and a sentiment from Walk By Faith. I intended for the sentiment to be punny, but you could totally go either way with it.
