Color Throwdown #395 + Reverse Confetti

Welcome to this week's Color Throwdown challenge! It's the season of graduations, so I combined some of my favorite Reverse Confetti stamps and dies to create a gender neutral card for one of the graduates we'll be honoring this year.

I've used this apple and globe combination before and thought it would be a fun twist on a graduation card as well. I started by cutting the Globe Confetti Cuts and All Apples Confetti Cuts leaf from thin cardboard. I then cut the All Apples Confetti Cuts apple from patterned paper and stamped it with a sentiment from My World.

Thanks for stopping by today! Come on out and play along with this week's Color Throwdown, we'd love to see what your crafty brain conjurs up! Please use keyword CTD395 and #ctd395 or #colorthrowdown on social media so we can find you. Also, link up your creation at the Color Throwdown Blog for your chance to become a Featured Guest Designer!

CardMaker + Reverse Confetti Blog Hop

Hey there, I'm so happy you're here because I'm hopping with my Reverse Confetti Crew and CardMaker today and have a fun end of the school year card to share with you! Once you've finished here, you'll want to continue hopping along to the Reverse Confetti Blog for more fun and a chance to WIN a prize!

I've combined two Reverse Confetti stamp sets and Confetti Cuts to create a clean and simple shaker card. All products are listed at the end of my post and will link you directly to those products in the Reverse Confetti store.

I started by cutting the All Apples Confetti Cuts die in the center of a white A2 card base. I then embossed the stitched circle from Detailed Circles Confetti Cuts over the apple opening and stamped a sentiment from Fancy Word Coordinates just below in hot pink ink. I also stamped the All Apples apple in black on a separate piece of cardstock.

I made a shaker frame around the apple with foam tape and then sprinkled in a few hot pink sequins. I secured a square of acetate on the back of the card front with adhesive and then carefully placed it over the shaker box, centering it over the apple image before pressing the two layers together. Finally, I added a single bright green leaf, also die cut from All Apples Confetti Cuts.

Thank you for stopping by today as you make your way through the CardMaker Blog Hop! I hope you've enjoyed your visit and are ready to hop along to Reverse Confetti. Enjoy!

Color Throwdown 394

Hi, all! I'm hosting at the Color Throwdown blog this week, so I hope you'll check out all the great inspiration over there and make time to get inky with us this week! In other news, it's also my 'birthday week', so I chose a yummy cake as this week's color inspiration. Enjoy!

http://colorthrowdown.blogspot.com/2016/05/color-throwdown-394.html

Besides yummy cake, I love all things nautical (I must've lived near the ocean in another life) and decided to pull out one of my favorite Paper Smooches Sailboat Die.  And it just so happened that I recently found this cute nautical washi tape at the Target $1 spot (run before it's gone) that just happens to gel with this week's colors, score! That 'wavy' edge is also from Paper Smooches - Waves Dies.

Thanks for stopping by today, and be sure to hop on over to see what the rest of the Color Throwdown Team, along with our Featured Guest - Tenia & May Guest - Jill, have done with this week's colors!

Color Throwdown #393

Hello! It's Wednesday and time for a new Color Throwdown Challenge. We'd love to have you come out and play along with us this week. Remember to link up your creation at the Color Throwdown Blog and use keyword: CTD393 and #ctd393 and #colorthrowdown on social media so we can find you!

I couldn't wait to ink up the sweet birdies from Reverse Confetti's Lift Me Up again and decided on one of each color from this week's Color Throwdown #393 palette - blush, rose and gray. My version of 'blush' looks a little more like red after giving each bird a coat of Ranger Glossy Accents.

I created the circle opening using Detailed Circles Confetti Cuts and then strung gray thread back and forth behind the opening to create a place for my feathery friends to perch and catch up on all the small talk. Speaking of bird chatter, we have been enjoying quite the show in our backyard lately, including Orioles (they're back!).

Hope you find time to get inky and enjoy the little things this week!

Color Throwdown 392 + May SFYTT

Happy Wednesday, all! I have a double duty card for you today featuring Reverse Confetti's May Sketch For You To Try (SFYTT) and this week's Color Throwdown #392 challenge.

I inked up a butterfly from Reverse Confetti's Butterfly Dreams in the gorgeous blue and then accented it with the other colors on the layers of the sketch.

I like to have nice clean edges on my layers, so I used a couple Confetti Cuts to get the job done - Gift Card Holder Tag (rounded rectangle) and Stitched Flag Trio (verticle grey and blue layers).

I can't wait to see what you do with either the Color Throwdown or SFYTT challenge, or both! Remember to link up your creations at the CTD and/or RC blogs so we see your creations.

Reverse Confetti May Release Hop

Welcome to the Reverse Confetti new release blog hop! The entire hop lineup is listed toward the end of my post, so be sure to check it out. I'm so excited to share one last card from this release with you featuring Confetti Cuts Falling Confetti & Boxes 'n Balloons and Celebrations. Very appropriate for Reverse Confetti's 3rd Birthday, I think!

The bottom of my card is filled with Confetti Cuts - Falling Confetti cut from gold glitter foam with balloons from Confetti Cuts - Boxes 'n Balloons floating above.

I die cut a few more of the Falling Confetti to place here and there as you see on the black balloons. I love the combination of these sentiments from Celebrations!

There is lots more to see on the blog hop, so check out the lineup below and enjoy the fun and inspiration!

I hope you'll have a chance to play along with this week's Inspired By challenge!
