Countdown to Confetti - You're So...

It's Day 2 of Reverse Confetti's Countdown to Confetti and I'm so glad you're here! I'm sharing a peek of You're So and coordinating You're So Confetti Cuts. This stamp and die set has oodles of possibilities, so it just might become your next favorite go-to set (you know, the one you keep at arm's length).

I lined up my stamps on an A2 Stone card base, positioning them so that my die cut 'wonderful' would overlap each of the stamped word lines just a smidge. Then I used my MISTI to stamp them in black ink and then layered the Iced Aqua 'wonderful' on top using foam adhesive. I felt like my card needed a little more of something, and since it was sort of on the masculine side, I pulled out Crushin' and used the largest arrow to add that little something I was looking for. Finally, I added enamel dots and a bit of twine and was quite pleased with the end result. Moral of the story - don't give up!

Countdown to Confetti - Mouse Mail

Welcome to the first day of Countdown to Confetti with Reverse Confetti. I couldn't wait to watercolor these cuties and the rest of the scene stamps from Mouse Mail! I used Zig markers on Reverse Confetti's Cloud White cardstock, cut them out using the coordinating Mouse Mail Confetti Cuts and assembled them on top of the new Bar Tag Layer Confetti Cuts. The side striped layer is stamped with the wider stripes from So Stripey.

Freshly Made Sketches #265

Happy Thursday, all! I couldn't resist this week's Freshly Made Sketches challenge and put my stash of Confetti Cuts 'extras' to work on this week's sketch.

I started with two felt trees from Merry Christmoose, added a whimsy Wreaths Confetti Cuts and topped it with a woodgrain peace from Winter Words Confetti Cuts. I don't know what I'll do when I run out of my beloved wood veneer stars, they're just the perfect complement to the trees and woodgrain sentiment.

Color Throwdown 421 - This Could Be Vodka

 Right?

I mean, anyone with a purple-tipped (tipsy) tail just might be bumping up their hot beverage.

It is the holidays after all.

I bought this adorably funny set from The Cat's Pajamas as an early stocking stuffer gift to ME because I just 'needed' it, and then combined it with this week's Color Throwdown Challenge colors - green, light blue, purple and black. LOVE this combo.

Keep in mind that the colors are generic and it's fine if you want to add in other neutrals, and use the keyword CTD421 on public galleries and #ctd421 and #colorthrowdown on social media sites when uploading your projects, because we love to see what you're doing!

25 Days of Christmas Tags + CTD 420

Crazy for Chritmas - Decor & More

Welcome to the final day of Reverse Confetti's three day event - Crazy for Christmas. Today's feature is all about home decor. I just happened to have another small embroidery hoop in my stash, and this is what I came up with using the Jingle All The Way Confetti Cuts.

Because the letters are thin, I used iron-on interfacing on the back of the charcoal felt before running it through my Big Shot with the Jingle All The Way Confetti Cuts die. I then ironed it onto a piece of fuchsia felt and secured it within the double hoop configuration. 

My final step was to embellish with a pair of jingle bells secured with natural twine and leaf stick pins for added color and just plain fun.
