SugarPea Designs Sweet Peek - Day 2

Hello! It's day 2 of Sweet Peek Week with SugarPea Designs, and I've got a clean and simple card for you today showcasing Timber - everything you need to create one of a kind cards and valentines for your favorite lumberjack! 

I left my little lumberjack uncolored and then created a sentiment strip to match my black and white look. 

To add a bit of warmth, I embellished the card front with wood veneer stars and layered it on an olive card base, trimming the stamped layer on one side to let a little color in.

Reverse Confetti January SFYTT

Happy Monday! It's time to kick off the January Sketch For You To Try with Reverse Confetti, and I've enlisted the help of the adorable penguin from the newly released S'more Love for today's card.

I've also used a few more of the new products from the January release to set the scene for cutie-pie penguin. I am smitten with this little guy and had to make him center stage today. He's colored with Zig Clean Color Markers and die cut using the coordinating S'more Love Confetti Cuts.

I watercolored a bright pink background and trimmed it with Stamped Note Confetti Cuts and then layered it up with a Confetti Cuts Lovey Words 'love' and coordinating sentiment 'you always' from Lovey Words Coordinates. You can also see the new Quick Card Panels - All Heart in the background working as the vertical layer of the sketch.

SugarPea Designs Sweet Peek - Day 1

Welcome to day 1 of Sweet Peek Week with SugarPea Designs! I'll be sharing peeks with you all week long, so be sure to stop by each day to see what's coming your way.  I just have to tell you - you're gonna LOVE this release! Today is all about the caffeine folks, and there is so much to love about these stamps and dies that I just had to make two cards for you!

My first card features Caffeine Addict, SugarCuts - Coffee Words, SugarCuts - Coffee To Go Cups .  I'm also peeking a new SugarCuts that will be featured later this week (hint: my coffee scene is layered on top of it, squee!).

I again used the SugarCuts - Coffee To Go Cups for my second card but decided to make a cup of tea instead of coffee this time. The wood veneer mini tea tag is from another SugarCuts set you'll also see later this week. The sentiment is from Espresso Yourself, and the coffee ring is from Caffeine Addict.

Reverse Confetti New Release Hop

I have a really fun card to share with you today featuring a whole bunch of the fun new release products. My card uses the adorable S'more Love and coordinating Confetti Cuts, Big Notes, Heart Tag Toppers and a little something from the latest Quick Card Panels - All Heart.

I seriously can't get enough of this penguin and his wonky hats, and have mixed and matched him up with hearts and snowflakes. The color combination you see here is this week's Color Throwdown #374.

I placed the All Heart panel at an angle to match his cute little stocking cap and then layered my Topped Off Tag with the Heart Tag Topper and added in a few aqua hearts to pull in the color from his cap and scarf. The Big Notes sentiment in gray fits perfectly on the tag with a little room for embellishing on either side.

Countdown to Confetti - Labeled

Hi, all! Have you been enjoying the sneak peeks this week? I sure have enjoyed reading your comments each day and sincerely appreciate your kind thoughts. Today is the final day of Countdown to Confetti which means that tomorrow is the BIG day when you'll be able to fill up your Reverse Confetti cart with all of the new stamps, dies and accessories we've been teasing you with. 

Today I'm sharing a card made with Layered Laurels Confetti Cuts and Labeled. I've also added a single red heart using the Heart Tag Toppers Confetti Cuts die. I have to tell you - every time I read this sentiment I can't help but sing the theme song from Golden Girls, lol!

 After stamping a scrap of cardstock with So Stripey in pale yellow, I die cut it using the Give Thanks Label Confetti Cuts die and then stamped the sentiment from Labeled on top. The Layered Laurels stems gave me the perfect 'framing' look I wanted, and the tiny heart from Heart Tag Toppers provided a sweet pop of color. 

I've had a great time sharing my Reverse Confetti projects with you this week and can't wait to show you a bit more tomorrow during the release blog hop that involves the entire Confetti Crew + 'Fetti Friend Audrey Tokach!

Countdown to Confetti - S'more Love

Welcome to day 2 of Countdown to Confetti with Reverse Confetti! You're going to flip for the latest Dawn Machell set being featured today called S'more Love.

After stamping and die cutting images from S'more Love to create my 'scene', I pulled out my colored pencils and got to work. There's just something about coloring that is so relaxing and gratifying, and colored pencils always take me back to my younger years.

How adorable are these images and coordinating sentiments, right?! After assembling my scene, I added a few subtle snowflakes in light grey (also included in the set).

On the heels of Topped Off Tag comes a new topper just in time for Valentine's Day -  Heart Tag Toppers. I'm head over heels for those dainty hearts all in a row!

I've combined the adorable heart topper with a sentiment from Lovey Word Coordinates, sweet and simple. The glittery hearts were cut from Heart Tag Toppers and another Confetti Cuts die called Stamped Note. You can see product graphics below.
