MFT Wednesday Stamp Club Sketch #167

Hi there, and thanks for stopping by today. I have a sweet simple card to share with you using the current Wednesday Stamp Club Sketch #167. You'll find complete details at the MFT Blog right here, including your chance to win an MFT voucher just for playing along with the weekly WSC sketch. Direct links to products used can be found at the bottom of the post.

I heard this particular sketch screaming, or perhaps whispering, for the funky new Floral Fusion Cover-Up Die-namics, so I obliged, of course! The sentiment is from a favorite of mine, Grand Greetings.

Inside is a sentiment from Words of Inspiration in Sweet Tooth ink on the Grout Gray card base.

Tomorrow is the release of the next Wednesday Stamp Club sketch, so be sure to check back in at the MFT Blog for a full reveal and inspiration from the link up section at the bottom of each WSC post. Have a wonderful Tuesday!

MFT Release Rewind - Day 1

Welcome to my Release Rewind post, where I hope to inspire you with more ideas for those goodies you've purchased and are patiently waiting to be delivered, or help you finish up your list if you're still on the fence.

Direct links to all products used on my cards can be found at the bottom of this post for your shopping convenience. I have two completely different cards to share with you today, so let's get started!

First up is the Floral Fusion Cover Up Die-namics which I've cut into Grout Gray card stock for a subtle background against a Sweet Tooth card base.

I inserted an angled piece of Sour Apple card stock behind Floral Fusion for a bit of contrast to the neutrals. The sentiment is from the lovely new set, Words of Inspiration.

Inside the card I've stamped another sentiment from Words of Inspiration, again in Grout Gray ink.

My second card uses stamps and Die-namics from Roughing It. Could those s'mores sticks and 'mallows BE any cuter?! The More Washi Patterns plaid makes for the perfect background for my Roughing It sentiment.

Roughing It pairs perfectly with the new Wood Plank and In the Wilderness Background stamps. I first stamped Wood Plank in Grout Gray on a Primitive White panel and then Wilderness in Olive ink over the top.

Inside I've used more Wood Plank and a sentiment and tree from Roughing It. Camping Stamping couldn't be more fun with these new stamps and Die-namics!

Head on over to the MFT Blog for a complete listing of designers playing along with today's Release Rewind, because you don't want to miss out on one single thing!  Have a great weekend and THANK YOU for your sweet comments, I love hearing what you think.

MFT New Product Launch - Bright Lights Alphabet

Welcome to the New Product Launch with My Favorite Things! All products from this release are NOW AVAILABLE for purchase at the MFT Store. Check out the MFT Blog for complete details of the latest release and the click-n-shop links at the bottom of this post for your shopping convenience.

I've got four one-liner cards to share with you tonight featuring the Bright Lights Alphabet, so sit back and enjoy!

First up is a 'cheez-y' little number using Bright Lights Alphabet in Orange Fizz, Blueprints 13 and sentiment from Magical Memories.

The Razzle Berry camera is from the Die-namics Cute Cameras set and topped with a resin flower for more cheez-y-ness!

Second up to bat is a hot little number with the adorable little Weber grill from Roughing It. Can't wait to give this one to hubby for our anniversary in June. He'll giggle, I'll giggle. We're like that.

I've added texture with the new Wood Plank Background stamp on the Orange Fizz washi tape and arrow. Sorta adds a little manly-grrr, doesn't it? The sentiment is from last month's Simply Fabulous Sayings.

Batting third tonight is 'lucky me' using a fun mix of greens from the MFT Color Family - Jellybean, Gumdrop, Sour Apple & Limeade.

I had a scrap of leftover gold embossed card stock, so I used it to die cut the 'U' and 'ME' for a nice contrast to the lucky greens. Negative Dot Alphabet was the perfect size to spell out 'ME'.

Batting clean-up tonight is my favorite of tonight's line-up. Confession:  I have a potty mouth (I know, SHOCKER), so any time I can swear and make it legal, I'm all over it!

I've seen 'oh, ship' used as a business logo, t-shirt design and everywhere else, so I just had to take this opportunity to make it my own! Hope you enjoy my rendition of it with a little Wood Plank in the background and my favorite-ist anchor from Let's Get Nautical.

Before you go: MFT is generously awarding two $100 gift vouchers to be chosen at random. Simply leave a comment by the end of the day on Thursday, March 13th for your chance to WIN!
