MFT Release Rewind - Cute Cameras 2 + Picture This!

I couldn't wait to get my hands on Laina Lamb Designs Cute Cameras 2 and coordinating stamp set, Picture This for a couple more cards, and what better reason than the MFT Release Rewind?! This is our chance as the MFT Design Team to share a little love and inspiration for the newly released products. I hope you enjoy these retro fun designs as much as I did making them!

My first card combines woodgrain + Spearmint for a fun retro look. The woodgrain stamp is from Wood You Be Mine?, stamped in new Grout Gray ink on a Cute Cameras 2 die cut.

The die cut heart and sentiment from Picture This are Chocolate Brown card stock and ink, and the remaining camera 'buttons' are Factory Green card stock.

Inside is a matching camera stamp from Picture This in Spearmint ink and sentiment in Chocolate Brown ink. These stamps and dies are simply perfect together!

Next up is a fun little play on words, or specifically the 'say cheese' phrase we all grew up with.

The Polaroid picture is made from a 'slice' of Lemon Drop card stock that I die cut with the Precious Polaroid Die-namics and then punched randomly in various size holes.

Inside I've taken a bit of a turn with another sentiment from Picture This because this card is going to my WI native-cheese lovin'-husband. He'll definitely 'get it'. Ü

Thank you so much for all of your sweet comments over the past week of Release Countdown and New Product Launch posts, it's so fun to hear what you like! Please visit the MFT Blog for a full list of today's Release Rewind participants, and don't forget to finish up your list at the MFT Store.

New Product Launch - Wood You Be Mine? + Heart Full of Love

Are you ready for a bit more tempting and teasing? My mission tonight is to show you a few different ways to use TRANSFORM-ables Heart Full of Love Die-namics and Lisa Johnson Designs Wood You Be Mine? so sit back, relax and have a look-see!

(NOTE: Wood You Be Mine? coordinates perfectly with the following Die-namics: Hearts a Plenty, Circle STAX, and Square STAX.)

First is a sparkly number that uses the TRANSFORM-ables Heart Full of Love Die-namics in a glitter meets adhesive match up. Before die cutting my love + heart, I stuck a piece of double sided adhesive sheet to Sweet Tooth card stock and then ran it through my Big Shot; peeled off the second layer of adhesive backing and sprinkled it with chunky silver glitter.

I couldn't help myself and added an arrow from Feathers and Arrows, replacing the tip with a Red Hot heart from Staggered Heart Border. The tiny hearts are die cut from the an element from Blueprints 11.

Inside is a sentiment and arrow from Right on Target with hearts from Love's the Ticket.

My second card tonight also uses the TRANSFORM-ables Heart Full of Love Die-namics but this time in a fun, masculine color combo of Blu Raspberry, Orange Fizz and Kraft.

The stars from Blueprints 11 and Accent It - Rock and Roll along with Patterned Triangles Background add to the masculine feel. I even did a bit of color blocking, so to speak, with the die cut love heart.

Inside is a sentiment in Orange Fizz ink from Wood You Be Mine? which I adore! Sometimes I have to remind myself  'how could I KNOT love you' when my son(s) is driving my crazy!

My third and final card showcases Wood You Be Mine? in a nautical way. I don't know what's with me lately, but I can't step away from the nautical wave (pun fully intended, snort)?! I layered a Seaside Charms anchor, tied up with hemp cord, on top of the woodgrain circle stamp from Wood You Be Mine?.

Nautical and stripes go together like salt and pepper, so I added Banana Split stripes using the Striped Backgrounds set on my Primitive Cream base before topping it with a simply stamped Steel Grey layer die cut with the rectangle from Blueprints 11.

The card inside has a few more Banana Split corner stripes that accent the same woodgrain circle and a sentiment from Wood You Be Mine? in Steel Grey ink. To pull in the Blu Raspberry color, I added a solo heart stamp from Love's the Ticket.

And there you have it, a closer look at the new TRANSFORM-ables Heart Full of Love Die-namics and Wood You Be Mine?. Please visit the MFT Blog for complete details on tonight's New Product Launch as well as the Brand New section of the MFT Store for shopping access to all new products!
