Can't believe it's already the last Saturday in March, and you know that means another great sketch for Jen's Saturday Sketch For You To Try (SFYTT)! I chose another cute Anya image that I received from Julia Aston, this time disguised as Red Riding Hood or as I called her, Riding Hood Red. She's ready to head through the Rockabilly Forest to visit her dear sweet G-ma with a basket full of stamping supplies, I'm sure! (I'm guessing they've got a stamp-a-stack planned or sumpin'!)
The lower left area of the sketch calls for a large embellishment, so I used a chipboard flourish from K&Co. and topped it with a die cut flower and build-a-brad featuring a little blackbird from Hero Arts who's telling her to steer clear of wayward animals on her way to G-ma's house! A snip of black gingham finishes out the bellie and is sorta supposed to resemble a swooping branch from the Rockabilly Forest...get it {wink}?! As for the sentiment, it's from my stash of Chit Chat rub-ons, secured with a brad from Making Memories. RHR/RRH is colored with reinkers and blender pen/aquapainter combo with a little watercolor pencil shadow surrounding her, although it's not showing up so well in my photo. Last but not least: if you're not familiar with this designer paper from SU!, it's aptly named (are you ready for this?)--Rockabilly! I think that's about it, so let's get onto the other sisters of the SFYTT hood:
